This requires a cartilage graft to repair * Surgeon and surgical assistant filmed video of patient, including during surgery which was shared to social media without consent * Surgeon left a bone defect / dent in patient's forehead (see CT scans) that requires a graft from the back of the skull to repair * Forehead feminisation was also left incomplete as confirmed by a well regarded second FFS surgeon * Communication was abysmal and surgeon was rude and abusive, mocking and gaslighting patient as dysphoric when legitimate problems with evidence were raised post-op * Surgeon takes no responsibility for any undesirable outcomes, completely ignores CT scan evidence and report prepared by well regarded second FFS specialist team"

Unfortunately since making that post it has become increasing clear that I was also victim of ghost surgery. After being tipped off by another patient who saw my reddit post, I discovered one year post op that the man introduced to me as Sluzky's surgical assistant, whom I now know to be a Dr Edgar Fridlender posted photos and videos of me taken on the operating table to his professional social media without my knowledge or consent. The posts included one that used a thumbnail image of Fridlender working on my nose whilst someone out of shot assists him along with multiple before and after photos and videos of my face. Also posted were before and after posts of several other FFS patients faces which were obvious from the bandages for their forehead work. I contacted Dr Fridlender to remove the posts including my face, of which there were several, politely asking and thanking him when he did so. Whilst initially obliging the request, Fridlender then started giving me a bad attitude about my request despite him having violated my privacy as a patient by not having consent. Which is a clear breach of medical ethics."

A November study from the Korea Medical Association released in November showed that some 750 South Korean doctors yearly—or an average of more than two per day—are criminally charged with professional negligence resulting in death or injury. That’s 14.7 times higher than the number of similar indictments in Japan, 580.6 times higher than in the UK, and 26.6 times higher than in Germany... Faith in hospitals and surgeons is particularly low due in large part to suspicions—based on cases that have made the news—of unqualified staff mishandling operations. In 2021, the government required surveillance cameras be installed in operating rooms where patients are under general anesthesia to try to stamp down on malpractice cases... In terms of compensation, currently, victims of “medical mishaps” are allowed to claim up to 30 million won ($24,500), with 70% shouldered by the government and 30% by the institution or doctor responsible."

in 2024 - "I got FFS from Dr.Hector Malagon in Mexico City of last year... I got hairline advance/rounding-trichophytic incision - with jaw v-line, chin sliding genioplasty, “cat eyes” lateral canthoplasty, and nose. I was not happy at all with the outcome. I ended up with one eye having a huge noticeable difference compared to the other eye which looked like he didn’t even touch it. I got chin pstosis that was more on the right side as you look at me rather than center, basically he left me with a bump of soft tissue for a chin... I did all my follow ups and also expressed my concerns to him. He wasn’t even listening and it seemed like he was just gaslighting me. When I told him about my eye and chin, he said I had to wait for the eye to get its shape back and the brow will raise up as well. That didn’t happen. He said the same for the chin pstosis. When I reached out for my last follow up with him at 6 month post surgery, I asked him if he could give me my ct scan. This was all followed up with a “send pictures” response. There was no change. At 6 months everything flaw he did still was there AND I always got gendered male. Luckily I had a cat scan done pre FFS and post FFS. He cut off too much bone from my chin and jaw. The soft tissue work was not great at all."

I had an operation last year with this company www.hygieiaturkey.com. Esma Demirezen does not care about the patient aftercare whatsoever and has ruined many people's lives by choosing bad and greedy surgeons whilst taking commission from the operation and then denying any wrong work.
Please avoid her company. You may contact me for photos or other information. I had a revision rhinoplasty (under her guidance) which was not needed, skull bone graft to fix cheekbone and chin/jaw adjustment which gave very bad results and I must suffer with these scars on my face for the rest of my life. When you ask her to fix it, she charges more consultation fees instead of abiding by the 100% patient satisfaction on her website. She only cares about money and should be banned from medical profession. I requested a female nurse after operation but woke up to a male nurse who looked after me whilst I was temporarily blinded for 3 days post-op due to bruising. She did not even care that she had ignored one simple request! And he was the only male nurse on the floor.
My life is ruined because of her organisation and her denial of what she has done. The after-care experience was terrible. I was in pain and she didn't help. She was so obsessed with payment for operation that if I couldn't pay in full for the extra operations she suggested - I would have to walk to the ATM everyday and withdraw the money straight after the surgery!! She told me of an instance where her rhinoplasty patient had to visit the ATM every day for a week to withdraw the money for their operation as their bank transfer failed. Do you really want this person overseeing your health in a foreign country? Be warned! There are better doctors and more compassionate people in Turkey. Esma Demirezen is just in the medical industry for money!

I did not expect for Neda to reply, saying that he had cancelled my surgery, blocked/banned me from the hospital and saying that "I had taken the space of some other Trans person who could have had their surgery earlier and that the bad karma was on me"... Luckily I could cancel my hotel reservation with no charges but unfortunately my flight tickets were not refundable. So I've lost £700.

A few days after surgery, I woke up to my before and after photos posted to Instagram. I couldn’t believe he had actually posted them without asking me first... Not only this, but he can be rude over messages. One boy posted his experience on Facebook about how he was having some problems after his surgery, Neda told him to come back to the hospital for him to get checked out which resulted in the boy going back a few times through his stay. When it was time for his chest reveal, Neda was texting with another boy who had surgery around the same time and said the boy had been to the hospital 4 times and they don’t have time for his chest reveal as he and the doctor are “too busy”."
