- Worth seeing Dr hart again? in 2024 - "So I had alot of issues with Dr hart (check my profile) as he has left me in a completely helpless state but recently he reached out to me finally little over 8 months and is considering to make time for me to see him again in February. Nearly $60k spent for meh aesthetics, scrotum skin left over on the exterior that apparently can't be fixed without horrible scarring... I can't have sex"

Very little pain or discomfort - sent home with Tapendol and antibiotics - dropped to just panadol after a day or so due to tapendol knocking me out. Taking it easy with feet up, as recommended by doctor, to avoid complications and swelling. Cost $2212 AU plus hospital plus anesthesiologist costs. All up a little over $3k. Will receive some return from private health cover (maybe a few hundred?) as I had a letter from my psychiatrist declaring I had gender dysphoria and so medically necessary. Wait was two weeks from consultation, but 3 months to get a consult."

Wayne Collings is suing plastic surgeon Peter Haertsch for allegedly failing to warn him of the risks involved. Dr Haertsch claims he should have known the risks after having thousands of pounds worth of facial surgery in the past. Mr Collings says the surgeon assured him the phalloplasty and dermal graft would increase the length of his penis by three centimetres. Instead, it left him with a shorter, painful and deformed penis as well as two months of sleepless nights caused by constant erections...

- 2020 - "Do not trust this Doctor. He performed surgery on my daughter which led to PTSD. Check the complaints commission in 2014/15. He moved the surgery the day before operation to a hospital inadequately equipped to ensure the procedure was successful. I heard the staff saying we dont have this and that. I said my daughter is being operated on by DR Haertsch will she be ok? After my daughter was released from hospital in the morning she had a medical emergency that night due to his incompetence. Although Dr Haertsch performed surgery the next day, damage to tissue could not be saved due to blood loss. My daughter took her life in August last year. Dr Haertsch was suppose to give her the medical procedure she required to ensure that she lived a happy and long life. I have lost my daughter because of him. She is not here to fight for herself but I will continue to send the message to everyone."

His wife is the anaesthetist, and she also waives her gap. With BUPA Gold Hospital the whole thing cost me $60 because I was discharged with some hella strong painkillers"

I am trained in FFS/FMS, top, bottom and body contouring surgery... I will be performing vaginoplasty (all techniques) and metoidioplasty but will hold off on free flap phalloplasty with urethral reconstruction until I establish a multi-D team in Adelaide as it requires input from different surgical specialties and cooperation from the hospitals to allow the case complexity. I also do Adams apple reduction (thyroid chondroplasty) but do not do vocal cord surgery as it’s out of my scope of training and practice."

I don't regret surgery at all, but I regret having it done by Andy Ives. Yes complications happen I know, but it was the way he treated me when I said things weren't right. After 4 years of dealing with chronic pain and arguing with Andy. I saw Dr Hart, who was lost for words about how much tissue was left that shouldn't have been there. Dr Hart removed the tissue and the pain was gone it was a 1hr surgery, extremely short and easy. Andy gaslight me, told me nothing was wrong for 4 years straight. I ended up going to Thailand to get a revision done as well so that I had depth again. A surgery that I dreamed of turned into 4 years of constant pain, 4 surgeries and massive amounts of stress and tears. Because Andy can not admit he made a mistake."
