Looks great! Was it just forehead and tracheal shave you got?

How was the recovery? Any long term side effects? How are you for numbness/sensitivity etc?

Forehead, trach shave, jaw, and chin. Recovery was hard for the first week then good after that. Recovery house was a life saver, and absolutely crucial. None really, except some occasional itchiness on the scalp, but no numbness rn. It took a while for the scalp numbness to go away tho.

I am just beginning my research and I'm totally overwhelmed. Would you mind telling me how you chose Cárdenas? (You look fantastic, btw!)

I cheated a little and had my dad write out some questions for me to ask because he’s a doctor. His biggest question was “what percentage of your patients report dissatisfaction with their results?” Others were “what percentage of surgeries have complications?” “what kind of surgeon are you licensed as?” (Plastic surgery is hard to do, so they’re almost always a good bet if they’re certified), and “how many of these procedures do you do in a week/month/year?” After that, I found 3 good surgeons and went with Cardenas because he was the most affordable.

Do you have his answers to those questions still?

I do not, but I remember some of them. He’s a licensed plastic surgeon trained in Mexico, and his dissatisfaction rate is less than 2%.

Generally speaking, FFS helps with passing much more than BA, and doesn't have risks such as BII.

I used to live in Mexico, and Guadalajara isn’t scary at all. Especially if you stay in the recovery house, which is a lovely part of town. He was about $12k for what I got done. Recovery house is included in pricing, and they do all meals, any PT needed, and all prescription management.
