Pretty well. I've been able to get up to the fifth marker on all my dilators.

With Ives no longer performing PI, options seem really limited within Australia. What made you choose Hart over going overseas (assuming you're from Australia)? I can't find much info on him online.

I was initially going to go with Ives because Hart hadn't been doing this surgery for that long when I was first trying to decide. More recently though I went back and looked into Hart again and I struggled to find any bad reviews, plus the results of his I'd seen looked pretty good so I went with him. I also live in Canberra so it was convenient for me.

Does it hurt at all? (Sorry if this is a dumb question)

Not anymore. My pain was overall pretty mild compared to a lot of people. For the first few weeks it hurt to sit for more than maybe an hour or so. Then there was just intermittent but manageable periods of pain. Then after about 6 weeks or so the pain pretty much stopped all together.

I'm curious about this myself. I'm terrified of how bad recovery is from this. My biggest roadblock to getting it done myself.

Pretty good. From pretty much as soon as I started dilating I was able to get up to the fifth marker on my dilators and I've kept that depth so far.

Surgery was about 25k Anaesthesia was about 5k Hospital fees were covered by my health insurance

Medicare rebate was 2.2k Health insurance gave me back only $700 for the surgery (That's with medibank private)
