In a word, no! I think that's a spectacular result, actually!
Thank you! That's very sweet of you to say HUGS
No, I don't think so. From my perspective, "too much" would indicate that your brow looks unnaturally small or indented. I think your brow looks great! How long before the swelling went down? Just had mine Monday 🥰
My swelling was never really that bad, it moved down within the first week or two iirc
Did you have black eyes? Did you have your chin done?
Oh yeah, I had black eyes. I can send you a photo if you like.
No chin work, but I got my jaw angle shaved and lipo under my chin, that was my only lower half work.
Oh really? Ok. Yes, please I would be grateful to see. I had brow bone removed, reshaped, and replaced with titanium wiring. Small face lift to close a little the recording hairline in the temples, ... I had the sliding chin operation. The chin was a pretty big source of dysphoria for me.
i think it suits you well and looks natural. I’m caucasian and this is what i find cis women to look like a lot around me. standard forehead for females with very little testosterone exposure.
Thank you <3
i don't think so. 😊
and, if it means anything, i never would have guessed you were trans or that you had surgery done !!
Awww thanks <3
Looks fine.
It looks good to me
Hell no, looks great!
Thank you! ❤️
Looks fine to me
I think that you might be feeling a little dysphoria from just not recognizing yourself enough, as if the change is more dramatic than you had expected. I'd like to share a story about one aspect from my FFS surgery last Monday at St Francis.
I was feeling those kinds of feelings of insecurity and fear that I think lots of ppl who have these surgeries must feel.
I wanted to go for walks in the ward and pestered the staff there to go walking with me because walking helps me digest and encourages BMs, and because it helps recalibrate me and prepare me for sleep and healing.
My room was a corner room on the 10th floor with sweeping views of San Francisco from the Golden Gate Bridge to Sutro Tower and The East Bay ship container loaders.
When we walked through the ward, there were pre 1900 oil paintings of San Francisco from before the bridge or Golden Gate Park was built.
I'm sure they may have been times when certain ppl felt strange about the amount of construction and defacement going on in SF at the time between and for the World's Fairs and general development and growth of The City. San Francisco is one of the most artificial architected urban spaces in the world!
I have been here for 23 years and this is a place I love completely. I do not think for a minute that I am sad for what San Francisco's shoreline or Bay is gone now. I'm only thrilled with what has been built that I'm fortunate enough to enjoy. 🤩
So it is with my surgeries, and so it is with yours, My Dear. 😘
Thank you for your kind words, I'll keep what you said in mind. I do hope for further FFS in the future, and I think that's something that might also be bothering me, that I don't feel complete yet.
Yes. I have had that feeling creeping up a little. For instance, if I get chin reduction it seems there might be a chance of extra skin down there and a kinda turkey dewlap where there wasn't one before. But there also these bite exercisers that are supposed to help with that. It would be great to try to figure out any non-surgical ways j can improve. But yes. It's possible that as we transition we discover that our plan isn't complete. That's not really the Dr's fault either. 🤷♀️
Yeah, I wasn't sure about how much I wanted my jaw shave, and I guess I didn't trust my surgeon to do that work, but after seeing my results, I think it's important I do a jaw shave to balance out my upper face. I have other issues with my results, but I was mainly focusing on my brow in this thread because if too much was taken, it's harder to fix.
Yeh, I wanted my surgeon to be able to do the work she needed to do to get a balanced look. We'll see in the coming months. 🤞 One thing that concerns me is that since she did the removal of a lot of bone matter from the chin, that I might wind up with a kind of dewlap of extra skin there. I also have these jawzeriser rubber inserts I can use to exercise the jaw that ppl claim to get pretty good results!
you're gorgeous! looks great and natural :)
Thank you! I really appreciate that ❤️
Thank you all for your lovely comments, I appreciate every one of them ❤️❤️❤️
This is flatness of East Asians (minus Japanese as they have even more flatness). What is your ethnicity?
White/mixed European
Your surgeon was very very aggressive, yeah :/
Who did you go to?
Rahul Seth, UCSF. I can't say for sure how much was his fault and how much was my lack of understanding of what looks natural. I suppose you could argue that if he were better, he would've prevented it, I don't know. How bad does it look?
Hard to say how aggressive it was without a pre ffs side profile.
I found a photo, but I don't know how to add it, if I can.
Do you have more specifics? It is less common to see general full Caucasians with as flat foreheads but I’ve seen it. It’s more of how you feel about it.
I don't know a lot of specifics, but my background is like Scottish/Irish, German, and probably some Eastern European I guess.
I feel like from some angles it looks fem, but others it looks unnaturally flat.
It looks feminine regardless. If they was the issue then stop now, but if it looking natural then it’s another story. I am East Asian so I can’t tell if you no longer look your ethnicity from their own googles. But you do not look masculine to me at all. You look cis but your complete lack of brow may draw attention. Maybe I notice things more because I was obsessed before my ffs.
Irreconcilable without pre FFS photos
It would really help assess your look if you include a photo of your whole face. Nvm i see the main issue. You need to smile! 🤗
On the flatter side but totally within the natural range in my opinion
one of the best works I've ever seen, period
No
Not at all. Very fem :)
Noah cyrus
No.
My FFS gave me an almost identical super flat forehead except my brows are higher than yours. I’ve got to admit I don’t feel like I look like myself anymore even after 3 years PO or look like my family but I’m happy regardless.
I think you look great :)
Thanks, I plan on getting revision to my brow lift but it's one of those things I'm less sure about. I'm glad you're happy 😸
Looks feminine to me I hope that is what you was after.
No this is goals
I agree with the others, the brow shave wasn't too much.
You do remind me of the actress Jane Adams.
I honestly think you look fantastic!.. don't look unnatural at all to me.
It looks really great in my opinion 💞
Thank you! 🤗
