No, I did not. There are about 20 stray hairs I want to get fried once it's healed some more.

That's amazing I'm going to have to put him on the list. I was thinking about Kamol hospital also.

Is it true that it's wet all the time? I really was kind of attracted to doing that when I heard that. It seems like maybe it would be because it's kind of always moist like up the butt, same tissue right? And for other reasons too I thought about doing sigmoid colon over ppv.

It is wet all the time. It's not rectal tissue; it's colon tissue. And with anal I need lubrication, whereas I definitely don't need lubricated at all.

I wasn't thinking about the anus or annul tissue I don't think I know it's not rectal tissue. I was thinking about tissue above that that is moist all the time. That moisture completely melts progesterone capsules. That's all coming from the sigmoid colon isn't it.

Anyway that and a few other pros I had read about with sigmoid colon vaginoplasty are why I was attracted to it.

Your the second person I have chatted with about it who really seem happy. I really appreciate your honesty!

wow great results! your clit how does it feel compared to tip of penis? is it over sensative or painful if touched?

It's very sensitive. Too sensitive at first, but it's becoming tolerable and pleasurable. Having the clitoral hood has been very helpful for masturbating while I'm getting used to the clitoral nerves.

I didn't ask, but I assume that's what is used since it's the male version of a clitoris.

Congratulations!! If you’re open about it i’d be interested in why someone would choose this method over others? Nothing against this method im just purely curious what the reasons/benefits are to this procedure vs something like the penile inversion or other

If I'm not mistaken doing this amount that allows for a little more self lubrication than the inversion method. Though I ended up doing the inversion method and just carry a tiny thing of ky if I ever need it in my purse 😅

Fair! And yeah that makes sense as it’s an internal organ tissue their using instead, i have heard some stories of self lubricating inversion method too but i think thats a lower chance of happening

I always preface this question with a big disclaimer: Everyone has valid reasons for choosing their surgery method, and my reasons do not invalidate their reasons. Just as their reasons for choosing a different method don't invalidate my reasons.

For me, there was a psychological aversion to PI. I didn't want my male anatomy to become my vaginal canal. And I didn't want my canal to be made of skin. There's no scientific or medical reason it can't be. That's just my own irrational aversion.

I wanted the surgeon to have as much skin as he needed for my vulva. I was also concerned that due to shrinkage, there wouldn't be enough for PI.

Self-lubricationwas a big factor. I am a rape survivor when I was presenting male (it happened without lubrication). I have PTSD including paranoia that it will happen again. Kind of sad. I know logically I made a choice based on an irrational fear. But it is what it is. Also, as someone who received anal sex my whole life, it's nice to switch from ultimate and time-consuming preparation to zero preparation.

Another huge factor is that after a year of dilating, I wont have to dilste ever again, whereas with PI, it is a lifetime commitment. And also with colon you don't need to douche. It's colon, not skin.

I also transitioned starting at 38 years old, so I wanted to get SRS done before I turned 40 (another irrational reason) and since no skin is in the canal I didn't have to wait and spend money on electrolysis before getting my surgery. I have some stray hairs at the entrance to my vagina, but they are not internal, and there's only 20 or so, so it's much less work and can be done when I'm ready.

Again: discalimer: my reasons are my reasons alone and don't invalidate anyone else's choices. Just like there is no one-size-fits-all way to transition, there is also no one-size-fits-all way to get SRS. You have to decide what your individual priorities are. What you don't want. Etc. And make a choice based on what matters to you and what feels right for you.

Did you have to get electrolysis?

OP

No, I did not. I will have to get a few hairs (perhaps 20) at the entrance to my vagina. It's going yo be so much easier and cheaper to get those 20 hairs instead of all the hair that was there before surgery. Plus, it's on bits I'm proud of instead of bits I was ashamed of.

That’s good then! I think I would just worry about internal hairs

The beauty of sigmoid colon is that there are no internal hairs. No skin ends up inside your body.

Is it very moist and never need any lube for sex? I mean only from colon itself?

I've used lube a couple of times, but usually no need to lubricate. Sometimes it can get very wet.

He seems very anti it sometimes and there has been a recent scare mongering about colon of late.
