Not there yet , surgery looks amazing. Why zero depth, if I might learn?

I went zero/minimal depth for two reasons I have never got real pleasure from penatration and I am a forplay and lesbian type of girl and second because I have a condition called factor 5 v Leiden which us from my dad's side of the family it's a minor blood clotting disorder so even though I am only 21 mentally 17 I feel that so even though I am young and healthy I have a increased risk for blood clots I am also a emt student and ohio state defense force member so a faster recovery down time is somewhat needed.

That’s wonderfully honest. I understand totally the lesbian thing. I guess I would want penetration as an option only but not sure ,quick recovery is great. Good luck with your career in health care.

I have to worry about blood clots too. Why is there lower clotting risk with this procedure?

It's less invasive due to no vaginal canal creation meaning faster recovery time and less blood loss faster recovery meaning you getting up faster and lessen tge chances of a clot forming and you still can get some shallow depth.

Yeah no problem I don't mind at all so first of all at number 1. 5 days In the hospital 2. No I had a freind drop me off and pick me up no one needs to be there except for those two things 3. Nope stayed on all my meds 4. No I did not get laser hair removal for my case but that varies on the option you choose with him and you cam still consult and get all the requirements but still do a consult even if your not complete with those things 5. wpath letters one from a threpist one from a masters degree psychologist and one perferbly from your hrt provider 6. For zero/shallow depth four to 6 months for ppt or pi with Canal 6 months to a year 7. Donut pillow bactraican/medihoney and a laptop phone or activity to occupy the mind two sets of clothes and a handheld mirror and snack and drink 8. No you can be any weight but you can't drive if you take narcotics for prescribed pain meds till atleast your two week follow up appointment beyond that your good 9. Nope 10. Only recommendation go to Gupta and yes if you do live more than 2 hours away you have to stay it the hospital 5 days and a week in a hotel after the surgery but he can work with you on that he does follow wpath 7 guidelines.

I am a emt B student so I am good about wound care but most importantly is that I had a negative pressure wound vac on in the hospital that helped alot

That would do it. I’ve heard really good things about wound vac. Surprised they did it for zero depth but good!

Yes the ppt technique where they add lineing from your colon or a tissue graft from you tummy arms or thighs to add a canal if I ever choose so but as of 9 days post op I love my shallow 1 inch depth no regrets and my surgeon Dr Gupta knows how to do pi ppt and vulvoplasty and phalloplasticy and BA,s he is very knowledgeable and skilled and have had multiple patients that he gave shallow or zero depth to and went back in and made them a canal with no major issues or concerns.

Hi! I saw your post from awhile back about your zero depth procedure, thanks for sharing. Congrats!

If you're up for sharing more, I was wondering what material was used for vulva construction? Were they able to use the penis shaft skin for inner labia since it wasn't being used for a canal, like in PIV?

Also, how is sensation, are you able to orgasm?

Thanks again.

I am able to orgasm and it feels amazing I can orgasm multiple times in a row as for the material it’s all from the penis I hope that answers your questions

If anyone wants to know more about Dr Gupta's team and other surgeries. Feel free to ask. They also perform colorectal vaginoplasty, peritoneal pull through, traditional penile inversion, or revisions. Tagging u/kitchen-ad-1161

Wow they really did a good job. I'm considering a zero depth vulvoplasty because I'm high risk for blood clots. I know it's too early for personal experience but I'm sure you have more research done on this than me - is it still possible to achieve orgasm with zero depth? Also how painful is this procedure. Sorry I'd I'm being to personal.

Yes it is possible and 0/10 pain scale 4/10 is the highest pain so far and I have factor v Leiden so this surgery type was a good catch all operations.

So you have an inch of depth? I want to have penetrative sex but I don’t want to dilate for the rest of my life. Also I want the surgery to alleviate my dysphoria, not to have sex or the deepest vagina so idk what to do :(

Well I have about 2 inches because the swelling went down but really that's only good for fingering and small toys and viberators which I am fine with really anything over one or two inches of shallow depth will require dilation sorry.
