The positive is that you seem to have healed without major complications. That said, I’d think a revision may be a good idea, perhaps with a different surgeon to improve aesthetics and function.

I don't have a lot of skin underneath, but still experience peeing "inside" from time to time. I just lean forward a bit when peeing and that generally works fine. You could talk to your surgeon or to a urinary track specialist to see about other options.

Yes, you should extend further down into the peritoneal area imo.
