YAY. Follow your dreams and be true to you. I started my transition in 2007, so I promise it's never too late

Thankyou, it's brilliant. I'm waiting for my Vulvoplasty, which is a similar op with the NHS here in the UK I'm in my late 60's.

Thank you! Yes it is very similar surgery. And I'm happy for you. It feels amazing to be able to have these procedures even though it's later in life it's worth it

Does the public insurance cover sex reassignment surgeries in the UK ?

Insurance? It doesn't exist in the UK, you can go to a Private Clinic, the cost would be around £12,000 ( $15,000 USD ) for a vulvoplasty. Though before any surgery you must meet our UK National Health Service standards for Gender Dysphoria For British citizens who are willing to go on a waiting list for surgery there is nothing to pay, it's FREE on our National Health Service.

Understood. I did the same. I do not regret my family I love them to the ends of the Earth, but yes it was a blessing to be able to finally move forward for my own self. I hope that you're transition moves more quickly than mine. I started my transition or long before it was a common thing like there were no surgeons in New York state and the laws were different insurance was not required to cover the surgeries. So it's definitely a little easier now and hopefully better for people 🤞🏻

Wow! That's super amazing and looks so natural. I'm planning on doing the same as soon as possible. Did you have to do any hair removal down there? I sure hope I'm as lucky as you are after mine.💕🥰

I chose not to do hair removal. Though it's typically suggested I don't think it is required.

How much did it cost?

Mine was covered by insurance. I did not know what the actual price was. They do accept many forms of insurance and even if it's out of network they may work with your insurance company. They are easy to get ahold of someone so you can get details related to your specific situation

Omg, you look amazing!

My Fourchette looked similar to yours / it healed too tight. It was resolved during a scar revision (the scaring in my labia was horrendous compared to yours) minor ish surgery if it is bothering you, mine caused urine to collect behind it.

Amazing result though xx

So far I'm very pleased. Not having any complications at this point and that's a blessing. And thank you 😊

I don't know if there is a standard of minimal depth. Mine is about 2 inches ( about 5 cm ).
