currently nine days post op with laungani, definitely not loving dilation but i'm happy so far!!
Amazing, congrats! And the dilation does get a lot easier over time. I've done around 300 of them now, lol
im only on day 4 of dilating, things are very sore and with travelling today was tough. the pain isnt even the issue, its the time sink😭wish i could do one single 2 hour session every morning
Absolutely. And all the sitz baths and so on, plus for the first while really you're supposed to air-dry pretty thoroughly each time... add in boiling the water for saline and all the laundry from constantly using new cloths and towels and however you're lining the bed, and dealing with meds and whatever else you've got going on, plus everything taking so much longer than normal because you're awkward and recovering... it's literally much more than a full time job equivalent. You can barely do anything else, even when you do have the mental energy! But I've been working full time (flexible hours) for over a month now, and dilation is pretty much just a routine like any other chore, so it does get better fairly quickly, if all goes well!
things will get much better once im down to just 3 times a day (and theyll be heavenly at just two), but the road looks very long right now. theres only so much netflix and reddit i can browse before my eyes go numb😭
Congratulations - looks great. I just got OHIP funding approval for GRS Montreal!
Congrats, and good luck! Hope it all works out well for you. 😊
Thank you! Happy healing!!
Looking great! I just had mine done on the 19th with him! Heading home tomorrow!
Congrats, and good luck with your healing! You're probably already over the worst of it. ❤️. I remember it was such a relief to get the stent, catheter, and all that removed, and to head home.
Yesss it was the things causing all the pain! Im mainly just stiff now. 💜💜 Thank you so much!
Oh Honey! It's So Beautiful!!
Go Girl!!!

For pi this is pretty good result
Thanks, yes, I should've specified for people who don't know that they use the penile inversion method at GRS. I was lucky, because I'd probably have chosen that method anyway, but the unfortunate downside of how this procedure works in our public healthcare system in Canada (or my province anyway) is that you don't really get a choice. This is what they cover, so this is what you get, unless you want to (and can afford to) go private. And we're so lucky to have it covered, it's pretty amazing. ❤️
that looks amazing!!! im so saving this post lol
adding that dr. to my list! ;)
Thanks ❤️
It looks fantastic
