I’m only 5 weeks post op with Chett and about to start dilator number 2 tomorrow. I’m also feeling the same way in regards to a “wall” then the canal behind it. I’m not sure what it is but it’s feel very weird… and very tight!
I also feel the same in regards to the appearance of my vulva. There also feels like there’s too much labia majora skin. It seems to hang a little like it did before surgery if you know what I mean? I’m hoping it tightens up because I really don’t want to fly half way around the world again for a revision
Not sure about dilator number 3 but I did read somewhere on here that if you try standing up and putting it in, you could possibly have an easier time ? Not sure if this works though, and it is by no means proper medical advice. Just something I seen on a thread somewhere
Is it okay now
I would continue dilation. See your local doctor if concerned. Go see a pelvic therapist . Charlie
I had complications after which he did revisions and my canal got tighter. Did u have revision?
When you dilate are you hit sticking it ( moving it around and stretching the canal as you dilate) ?
I experienced the same with dilator #3, what helped me was to use lidocaine spray. Spray it inside and around your vaginal canal, give it a little bit and then start pushing the dilator giving it enough time to stretch. I admit it's not easy but once you're able to get it in the first time, your body remembers and it's never as difficult again.
That wall maybe urethra/erectile tissues.
Ah, shit. What should it feel like when I put a finger in, just like a kind of straight canal/tunnel?
Whoops. I misread your comment as erectile issues not tissues. Could this be normal then?
Contact your surgeon for guidance.
I've noticed too that in his latest results the labias are usually off.
Can you tell us how are you know and what did you did cause I am in the same place with you
