I thought this might be of interest to some of you.

I had SRS a little over 6 month ago with Dr. Markovsky in Germany. They do PIV.

I usually prefer to use lube as it's just quicker and easier, but I didn't have any at hand yesterday.

Turns out I get plenty wet down there with a little bit of patience. Even before an orgasm it's enough for penetration.. after one it's like I put on a good amount of lube.

Of course it's YMMV.. but getting wet with PIV is totally possible.

Did you get wet when aroused before the surgery?

Yes and no. If I was really aroused and edging for a while I'd get a drop or two here and there.. and a little bit through an orgasm. Stimulating is what could get me wet before surgery.. and well.. the easy access to it now certainly helps a lot.

Me too! PIV with Dr Brassard on July 3rd, and the other day my partner and I were exploring together before I dilated, and there was definitely wetness going on down there! I barely had to put any lube on the dilator when I finally did dilate 😅

Wow! That's good news! I hope i could too, someday. I'm still 3 months but i haven't noticed anything. Would you say sexual arousal is a factor? Or some changes in diet/lifestyle?

It's just sexual arousal.

Sorry if too personal of a question, but I'm trying to gauge my chances of getting wet myself post surgery - did you used to create a lot of lubricant with your old genital configuration? I'm curious if that's a factor or not in the "YMMV", cuz I personally typically barely get naturally lubricated at all until just before orgasm, so I'm a little worried that will continue to be the case.

Not a lot through conventional masturbation.. but prostate stimulation did. And since that's now easily accessible..

To quote Jessie from Breaking Bad: "Yeah, science bitch!" :P Thanks for the quick and open response, much appreciated. Congrats on the great results!

I'm glad you get wet, but it doesn't seem to be a common neovaginal function.

Just a small question if I may, how does fact you're able to get wet influence microbial growth/self cleaning? Is that something that's possible for you now?
