Day 9 postop rbl here. Posts like this give me a reason to punch through the rough spots.
youre soooo early still. just rest up, dilate, eat, and douche. youll get there. you can see my post history for pics on how i looked when i was where you are.

Hello all. Ok so it has been six months since my last post. i had my last appointment about a month ago. everything is completely healed. no granulation tissue, finally, and orgasmic and up to the last dot on the orange dilator (whom i call king louie). only remaining issues is sometimes the skin frels a little tight at the introitus. ive been using estradiol cream for a month or so and it seems to be helping a bit. i dilate roughly every other day now 5 min with green (whom i call shrek) and 15 with orange.
since everything is done and no real issues to resolve. thisll be it for my series. hopefully my posts have helped people. i know there is a lack of posts from people really a lot later on in healing, so ill maybe post in a year or something. best of luck everyone!

oh my god this gives me so much hope since I'm going to the same place. electrolysis is taking sooo long >.< but it looks so good i can't wait to have something that looks like that
awe ty. they are a great team. and recovery is recovery, but its nice they dont rush you out of the hospital and you can just rest and be observed and feel safe. electrolysis sucks for sure, but its worth. i have no hair anywhere it shouldnt be and that was like 1.5 years of weekly electrolysis
aw i started the electrolysis process like a few months ago. I wish I started it sooner but I couldn't find any place that'd do it around where I used to live and I didn't rly know as much about it as I do now. And I was sorta prioritizing electrolysis on my face but even now (with weekly hourly sessions) I've been first clearing up my face then working on the area for the remaining time (sometimes last 30 minutes but last session was just the last 20 minutes on pre-surgery area). ig i feel like a cleared face would make my life w/ genitals i never wanted a little more bearable
its a long and very expensive road, but after like 4 years of electrolysis on my face im at really little maintenance now. like, a few medium to fine hairs under my chin that are super light. hang in there. If it feels like they're plucking when they pull the hair, they didn't zap it well enough -- there should be no resistance (except sometimes when you have like a lot of sheath to the follicle)
oh damn, i was thinking about that since my previous electrologist would pull a little then zap it, but my recent one just plucks it. I'll mention that to my current electrologist
they should zap, and itll probably hurt, but then when they pull the hair it should usually come out without much tugging. Again, exception is when there's a big sheath around the follicle root.
yeah it does hurt. usually it comes out without much tugging but sometimes it doesn't. my previous electrologist would zap again if there was a bit of tugging but my current one doesn't. my current electrologist talks about how good she is so i'm worried about mentioning it.
Can I ask u a few questions about bottom surgery?
1). How long were each of your weekly electrolysis session?
2). Any tips on dealing w the pain? Did they give you an ointment? Did you take any meds?
3). Does Bluebond require electrolysis? I might have issues with being able to do electrolysis bc I just got on blood thinners. Trying to see if Bluebond offered an alternative.
4). Is this PIV?
5). How do you dialate? Is it just basically playing with a dildo/vibrator in and out or do you just leave it in for 15 mins and be done?

about an hour or an hour and a half.

lidocaine and prilocaine mix ointment. about 30 min before, put saran wrap over it to lock it in before your appointment. cry.
3.she does. im pretty sure theres a map somewhere about where she wants it. since i wasnt sure where id end up i just did perenium (super important spot), entire scrotum, and just above base of penis.

you ease the dilator in until full depth and then gently move it around like a joystick. use lube. they give you instructions and show you at discharge.

ppv hybrid. yea the surgery was like 2-4 hours or something. way shorter than i thought. but its bc zhao is doing urology stuff with the robot while bl is doing plastic stuff.

Have a consult (on my birthday) in 2025 - hopefully will be tf out of this pos state and have most hair removal done…

I have been slowly trying to gather information and doctors names that created results I liked and like hec this looks so amazing! I def need to look into more results from them, idk if its too much work but do you happen to have any resources on other results from them?

nyu is also very consistent i think, even if my results are kind of optimal, from what i can tell. min jun is a former student of hers working on the west coast. while i was recovering, one of the surgeon assistants (dont know real title) said she was going to start a practice in chicago as well. cant remember her name.
