I don't remember how long it took to subside but that does look normal. I was purple down there for quite a while.

This is normal trauma from any surgery. It’ll progress from angry purple to orange yellow, to yellow to normal skin color.

Looks sore, but fine. Surface bruising takes 4 weeks to clear

Yep, it tends to pool around the hips from being horizontal.

Bruising was about a month, swelling is about 6 months for 80% - 90% reduction

Sure varies from person to person. I only have a few yellow bruises so far. (4 days post-op) Can see on my last post

It varies. The bruising usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to fade. My arms were worse because I had subcu heparin shots there in hospital.

Thankfully I didn't bruise much (at all) but from what I hear it's normal.
