Wow lots has changed in a month. I appreciate you sharing, at least now I have some idea what to expect when I go in mid January.

Can I ask how recovered you are generally? Like, how easy is it to go about your normal everyday activities? Are you still kinda incapacitated or are you mostly back to basic functioning?

It's been a gradual recovery, but I'd say I'm about 75% back to normal right now. I've been careful not to over-do it and find my limits the hard way, and dilating + air drying means I get plenty of rest. My biggest obstacles are that standing and walking starts to hurt after about 30 minutes, and I can't sit upright yet, only slouch or lay down.

It'll be a momentous day when Dr Brassard does retire, but I'd say he's more than earned it with all the patients he's helped. Best of luck with your surgery next year !

Hey, I’m a month post-op with Brassard too. We probably saw each other at l’Asclépiade. I’m happy to see you’re healing so well! I’m a bit jealous. I seem to be dealing with a lot more swelling than you. So annoying.

Hi surgery buddy! We likeky did meet; I was at the group meet-up on Friday if you went to that. Sucks to hear about the swelling, I think I got lucky that mine wasn't so bad. I hope recovery's going well for you otherwise!

I was at the meeting too! I’m sure we must have seen each other there.

My recovery is going well otherwise. Just dealing with a bit of hypergranulation, I think. It actually looks very similar to what you have at the base of the canal. I have my one month follow up with Brassard on Tuesday so he will hopefully be able to look at it and treat it if needed.

Honestly, outside of the swelling, things look very similar for me down there - I’m also a bit apprehensive about exploring the clitoris area hihihi

And can’t wait to drop to 3 dilations per day next week!

Sorry to mention but I’m a little confused… where is the vaginal canal? Is it the lower hole or above?

The upper hole is my urethra and the lower hole is my vagina. My anus is further down but not visible in these pictures.

This is Penile Inversion. As far as I know, GRS Montreal doesn't offer any other method right now

At least 30 minutes each time, and if I'm not going outside then sometimes I just keep my pants off until the next one
