Oh that looks great, it is so great to see plus sized individuals finally being allowed to get the surgery instead of gatekeeping us and only allowing thin people.

Do you have any photos that show the perspective with open legs that shows the full labia? I am also going to Dr. Ramineni

It's truly a gift and Ramineni is truly an ally.

As long as my health was in good standing, I could be taken cared of and dilate that's all that mattered to him.

A slower healing was to be expected but we discussed that and I was aware of it beforehand.

It was important to be and how I experience gender to be allowed to be able to stay me. "Soft and curvy, big and burly" is what I say and to be able to have access the full range of my Gender expression losing litterally half of me would have been devastating.

Oh I can certainly work on getting some shots. I try not to stretch things down there to much as it still likes to misbehave if I'm not careful.

Would be great if you would, it is extremely hard to find results from plus sized individuals out there from that perspective.

And tbh some healing is to be expected, it takes almost a year for everything to heal down there full, I am more curious about the shape and structure really, I remember someone posting a pretty scary example of dehiscense which would freak me out 2 weeks post op but it healed very well after a few months.

Thank you for being open about this, I have had such bad disphoria and anxiety attacks about my weight and being afraid I'd never be able to get bottom surgery.

Totally understand πŸ«‚ Ramineni may be someone you want to look into whenever you get there. He takes a lot of different Insurance plans and the wait time isn't long, 3months for me once I had my insurance figured out. I was 330 at 5'5 so a BMI around 55?

So as long as your healthy, can figure out the care and can dilate (if you get full depth) he's awesome.

Also the wait for consultation is only like a few weeks and he does conduct over the phone which is good if you're already educated enough.

I’m sorry if you have answered this elsewhere, but do you mind if I ask what HRT you are on. I’m assuming your testicals were removed in the surgery.

Oh also, I feel like the last 4 months have pushed things along in other areas as it pertains to HRT 😁

Thank you πŸ₯° Hoping it keeps on improving I'd like to have an idea in 2months what I need to look at more critically.

You’re male to female sex change?

Assigned male at birth. Genderfluid and feminizing. Sex change isn't really a thing πŸ˜…

No it really isn't. Genitals don't equal gender.

They do. That's why there is, let me spell it out: Sex Reassignment Surgery.

"Sex reassignment" is an outdated term. The industry as a whole has adopted "gender confirmation" because "sex reassignment" is an exclusionary term for most non-binary people, and is really only held onto by the I'll informed or those that refuse to update their understanding.

In my case it did not reassign my Gender because it's impossible to do so. However gender affirmation has a much broader scope of inclusion as it can be used for binary trans and non binary trans.

I do understand. I just don't have to change my words for people to understand me, either. I say sex reassignment, and I do believe in binarity. However, my opinion is irrelevant to my terminology, and I treat strangers equally. When I say SRS, we all know what I mean, so reassure yourself next time you hear a word you don't like instead of getting others to change their speech. I'm not your therapist, I don't get paid to make you feel better.

Genital disphoria... ever experience it? If so, then you have your answer.

Also, I'm Genderfluid.
