Oh! T gel can be used for function? Where do you apply? Does it interfere with estrogen any?
I apply to my pubic mound once a week. My overall T levels are still in the low teens so it doesn't really affect my E levels.
I had orchiectomy a few years ago no t gel still functions di to my use of it.
Depends on how much you use. I was dosing E and T before my bottom surgery. The nice thing about gel is its very modular, so if you're just looking to maintain libido you can do a pump or 2 every day until you feel it come back and then just does once in a while to maintain.
I had my T level at around 70 with my E being in the 400s I wasn't on blockers as my T was crazy low when I started E.
I'm 4months post op and I havnt worked the T back in yet as I'm still recovering and I don't need to add horny to the list of frustrations also I'm enjoying what E is doing for me atm as I just crossed the 1yr make a month ago.
I am assuming you had your testicles removed, has it affected your volume and thickness of ejaculate?
It wasn't a requirement to have them out but I had them removed 6 months prior to bottom surgery for unrelated reasons. If you don't use the scrotum, they just need to take the donor skin for the vagina from somewhere else, like the inner thigh. Removing the testicles didn't have any effect on my volume or thickness of ejaculate but I'd been on HRT for a long time before that and HRT had a significant effect. HRT made my cum go clear and I produced far smaller loads. The orchi and later PPV didn't have any further effects.
I'm ftm, and the opposite happened to me on testosterone! I cum a shit ton more and it's the color and consistency of semen now, where as before it was less and more clear. Hormones are neat :D
i hope this isn’t too intimate a question but how long did it take for that change to happen? i’ve been on t for exactly a year and 2 days (yay) and that hasn’t happened, did it take longer for you or is my body just different?
I've been on testosterone for about 3 years and 2 months and only really noticed it about a year ago. Keep in mind that some people just aren't able to ejaculate as much as others, if at all. I don't shoot out or anything by any means, but my orgasms are much wetter now, lol The longer you are on testosterone, the more your skenes gland grows and starts to act more like a prostate. You may notice a change after a while, or you may not. It's a ymmv kinda thing.

Well, I'm not dysphoric over what I had but at the same time, I really wanted a vagina. Anal sex was really unpleasant for me and I really wanted to be able to bottom, and the idea of bottoming with a vagina sounded incredibly affirming to me. I waffled back and forth on bottom surgery for a long time until I saw someone else who'd had a PPV and I was just, like, "I WANT THAT!"

Things like depth and diameter are no different in the phallus-preserving vaginoplasty as they are in any other vaginoplasty. Recovery varies from person to person, just make sure you DO NOT skimp on the dilating to get the best results. Once you're fully healed, penetrative sex doesn't hurt, though don't go jamming things in full tilt out of the gate. Just like a natal vagina, you gotta warm things up and take it slow at first before it gets fun. I needed two letters from mental health professionals to satisfy insurance and it only cost me my insurance premium, which was $1500.

They just put in the same medical codes for a vaginoplasty and processed it like that. In effect, that's all it really is anyway- a vaginoplasty without a penectomy. My urethra wasn't re-routed so I still ejaculate and urinate from my penis.

Mine is a mesh skin graft so it does not get wet. Peritoneal pull-throughs can get wet but it comes at the trade-off of not having internal sensation. I went with skin because I wanted full internal sensation.

It feels REALLY intense! I gotta ease into things because it is a lot all at once but once things get going, it's incredible. Penis still works too and feels great to fuck with now that the sensation came back. It went partly numb after the surgery but feeling came back after about 8 months.

Thanks for posting pictures!! Not a lot of talk about this type of surgery, but it’s of interest to me… One question if it’s not too uncomfortable, have you found any shrinkage happening because your testicles were removed? If not, how have you maintained size and function?
Well, there's the old addage that applies to anyone who starts T blockers or gets an orchi: "use it or lose it". If you get erections with some regularity, it won't shrink. You may have to be pretty intentional about it because you likely won't get spontaneous erections anymore. However, after a phallus-preserving vaginoplasty, you're not supposes to get hard for the first month as it could cause wound separation. Just once that month is over, take a little extra care to get and maintain erections to counteract any atrophy that may have happened. A penis pump can be very useful.
Had a friend of mine who wants something like this, I showed it to them and their like “holy moly that’s literally what I want”. I’m a trans girl getting a vaginoplasty cuz I get lots of dysphoria, congrats and thank you for the amazing photos of encouragement!
i think it looks great... and i only realized some months ago, that this kind of surgery is an option. I have one additional question: where is the prostate gland now located? i mean in relation to the vaginal canal, rectum etc... my guess is that i would be located in front of the vaginal canal (i mean on top.... errr.. well like where the G-Spot is shown in pictures etc)
oh... and any information about surgeons performing that kind of operation in europe?

I didn't lose length. I had some discomfort getting erections for a while because the skin was stretched so much but getting regular erections eventually fixed that. I have full sensation in my new V because I went with a skin graft, not a peritoneal pull-through.
Does peritoneal actually make you lose more sensation than with a scrotal skin graft?
Yes. Peritoneal tissue doesn't have nerve endings while skin does. While it's normally numb at first, in time, the nerves reconnect with skin grafts and you get internal touch sensation.

As I understand it, once fully healed, it has roughly the same sensation as the skin used for the graft, be it inner thigh or scrotum. I used the scrotal tissue and it's worked out nicely for me because my scrotum was really sensitive. Inner thigh is a popular donor site because that skin also has a lot of sensitivity.

I'm bisexual and enjoy being with any sex or gender, though I tend to lean more towards Sapphic. I haven't had anyone turn me away yet due to my configuration. Most people are simply intrigued. Every partner I've slept with has been trans since my surgery, though, so I'm not actually all that sure how most cis people would respond to it. The exponential growth of my Twitter following suggests that cis men probably like it too.

Not necessarily. Use it or lose it, as they say. If you get regular erections, you won't lose size.

I generally try to avoid saying specific doses simply because everyone reacts differently to their hormones. A low dose for one person could be an excessive dose for another. The key is to find what works for you and your body. The T gel I use is a 10mg per pump gel and I apply a single pump to my pubic mound once a week.
I totally get your point! It's just that there are many people sharing their medication schemes with traditional estrogen and evtl. blockers that let me to get a good sense of what is considered a healthy dose and target concentration before even getting in touch with doctors. But I barely ever stumbled upon T re-addition. Thus tysm for boosting the initial research phase! :)

I'm amazed at how good this looks! I've been considering getting this surgery too, but I wanna ask: is it possible to make a full vagina after this surgery if you'd like to?
I'm not sure what you mean by "full vagina".
I mean like, remove the penis and make the clitoris and the other hole
I mean... I suppose it would be possible but if that's your end goal, just go that direction from the start. These are major surgeries, expensive with a very long recovery period. You want to be sure you get what you want BEFORE you go under the knife so you don't have to endure it more than once.
Yeah, a revision wouldn't be impossible, but a PPV has to locate "further down", reducing spacing between vulva and anus. If done as an intermediary step, it's unlikely that placement could be changed, and most of the penile tissue would be simply lost/removed, and not reusable.
It's probably just as much of a bad idea as getting a traditional vaginoplasty, then following it up with a phalloplasty.
Medical issues aside, if it's a strong concern, then you're probably not psychologically ready for surgery, and should get really firm on your desires before proceeding further.

Simply put, it was because I didn't want to remove my penis. I liked topping, I had a good time using my dick and aside from being slightly annoyed by the bulge, I wasn't dysphoric about having a penis. However, I also still had this great desire to have a vagina. Anal sex didn't really work for me and a vagina would be a way for me to experience bottoming in a way that I found so incredibly affirming. Not being able to decide one way or the other, I realized what I truly wanted was both and it was possible to have it. Besides, now I get to be a literal futanari girl and I find that pretty hot.

it's not a stupid but ignorant question. Babies are made from espermatozoids from man's testicle and woman's eggs. I don't see testicles on her. She probably can't have squirt eyaculation, but just presumably coming out of the pennis all the time while intercourse or being aroused, and a bigger volume after an orgasm.
