Congratulations. It looks really good. Who was your surgeon?

Wonderful result! Congratulations.

On the granulation tissue - while that can resolve itself, sometimes it needs a bit of help. Ask your doctor to look and possible use some silver nitrate to cauterize the tissue. It is fairly painless, and can definitely make things less uncomfortable.

Thanks. I thought that's only used on hypergranulation? 🤔 I had some btw, but my gyn, literally, just cut it off 🤣 I felt nothing and it only bled a tiny amount for a rather short time.

Thanks 🥰 Had some dry necrosis on my clitoris which has been cut off, ever since the pain has been decreasing as it finally allowed my clit to settle and be protected by the labia. Prior to it she was fully exposed and gauze sticking on it hurt like fuck.

I thought electrolysis or laser hair removal was required before getting such a surgery done? I’m transfem too but I’m a long way from getting the surgery.

I’ve been seeing a lot of trans women posting on here about getting their bottom surgery done but in another country. Anyone know of any surgeons in USA?

It depends on the surgeon and technique. The safest bet is to remove as much as you can beforehand, but some grs surgeons are very confident in their ability to scrape off the hair follicles on the new vaginal wall during surgery.

Yep, in germany that's quite common. Surgeons do not ask to remove hair prior to surgery in germany. Tho I did some removal on my perineum, as my surgeon flaps it inside the vaginal canal. Sadly I have some hair left there, but it's just at the entrance and easily removable once everything is fully healed. In my vagina I noticed no hairs so far and I had no removal on that tissue.

That's great! You are healing beautifully.

I would be happier if she wouldn't hurt as much 🥲

it looks suspiciously good for two weeks, it is normal to be all colours of rainbow and more swollen.

you can start worring in a year.
