There seems to be a group on this sub who thinks next to no depth is fine because 'cis women only have that much', which isn't true. At all. Like, they have less when at rest, but upon arousal, it expands significantly. They also expand an incredible amount for child birth. Sooo, yeah, we need as much at rest depth as possible. If you are looking for penetrative sex, I would imagine you will need a depth revision.

Yeah, even at rest cis women have at least 3-4" according to studies I've read.

Natal female:

Unaroused is 2-4" and aroused is 4-8" in depth on average.

Sexual arousal causes the vagina and the cervix to pull up into the body, making the vagina several inches longer. Additionally, arousal causes the labia to swell, which also adds to the total length.

I see a lot of good about Theerapong's srs depth revisions with sigmoid.

Thanks but not really interested in sigmoid. PPT if it doesn't involve dissecting the vulva. Otherwise I'll probably just live with it.

I just had ppt revision for depth issues a month ago. No vulva dissection needed, and now I’ve got 6 inches of depth. They did have to take a skin graft from my abdomen that left a gnarly scar, but totally worth it.

How far post-op are you? Sorry to say but 2 inches is basically nothing.

How far post-op are you?

3 months post-op.

2 inches is basically nothing

That's what I'm thinking.

But I've also been told 3.5" would be OK and I can't get a straight answer on where the reference point for measurement should be.

The surgeon seems to think it's the vulva, and that's what I seen to get from most people, but that seemed wrong to me and then I found a medical study in the subject where their methodology specified measuring from the introitus.

The surgeon said he gave me "about 4"" but I'm not seeing close to that. I'm very happy with the result other than the depth issue, and I'm concerned because he seemed to really push me toward minimal depth.

I was told to spread the lips for measurement. So I try to do that and get about 5 inches on mine.

What method did you opt for? Looks and sounds to me like vaginoplasty? If so, the 4" includes the penile skin plus the graft. The graft always shrinks a bit, as do tissues once they start healing.

I know it's not ideal, but if you're not interested in a revision, you can still have penetrative intercourse, but literally just with the t!p.

No is not. I was there too. I had my vaginoplasty revision December 13 2023 for width and depth with Dr Ramineni in Washington DC. I'm one month post op Im using the biggest orange dilator also can reach up to the 5th dot. Sometimes doctors lie when they tell you reaching first or second dot is enough to have sex

How did Ramineni do the procedure? Was it PPT and/or did it involve another dissection? I know Bowers does depth revisions but it basically involves a full dissection and I'd rather avoid that.

That's basically the depth of zero depth grs. Typically 3-5 cm which is almost 2 inches.

Can you get any deeper with the smaller one? That's not seeming to be very good depth.

If you want to have sex with a micro penis then yes.

No. You may want to consider colon revision if PiV is very important to you.

Try to gain more depth through dilating.

I am confused. What is the difference between the photos? Why is one different depth? The second photo feels like the dilator is pulled out a bunch? Isn’t the dilator further in on the first photo?

The only difference is I spread my legs more so you can see the introitus instead of the labia.

I'd have accepted that. He told me in recovery he gave me "about 4 inches" and I would have assumed he'd use that landmark. Imagine my surprise...😕
