I am. It's not like this solved all my problems or anything, and I don't feel like it's made my dating life any easier, but jeez it just feels so good to wake up and see this face in the mirror

You look amazing! He did a really great job. How did the hairline look after about a month? I’m getting similar procedures but have been worried about scarring after the hairline advancement.

After a month mine was still very red and swollen as the dissolvable stitches made their way out. I also had a few ingrown hairs. That's all mostly cooled down now after a few months, but the hair regrowth is slow. I bought some toppik hair fiber spray to thicken the appearance of those areas in the meantime.

That’s a great tip. Never would have thought of toppik. Thanks!

How much height was removed from your chin?

I'm not really sure, maybe 1/4"-3/8"? It feels like a lot though

It looks fantastic! I think I like the greater reduction you received more than what I got. I like my result, it looks good and natural but I wanted more reduction. The surgeon that did mine has a strong preference for equal facial thirds. Most plastic surgeons do as it's part of the the classic golden ratio standard. However, a shorter lower third, sometimes 85~90% the length of the middle looks more feminine. When smiling an equal lower third often looks longer than it really is. I personally tend to prefer a shorter lower third as it's an overtly estrogenic trait. I said I wanted a shorter lower third, and I got one but not as much as requested. Asked for 6mm ≈ 1/4" of reduction ( this was possible). He only reduced the height of mine by 3mm ≈ 1/8", which works out to about 95% the length of my middle third when measured in real life. My chin shape is great, but I still feel my chin is too tall specifically when I smile. Kinda wish I went with Mardirossian like you did.

You look amazing!! I hope you don’t mind me asking but the cost was it close to six figures? I want to use Mardirossian pretty bad and have the money but I found out my insurance would work with Dr Weinfield out of Texas so was gonna go with him. And figured maybe I could use Mardirossian for touch ups if needed as a second round.

Yeah it was pretty pricey and I had to go out of pocket, not quite six figures but close enough that I'll be paying it off for a while.

I will say, this is your face that you present to the world every day. Make sure the doctor you choose has the results you want!

😩 I know it this has been such a hard process finding the docs that I like their work. Mardi did great for you. I feel almost guilty spending that money on my transition.

I had the same feeling. A lot of my friends are struggling and here I am spending tens of thousands on surgery. After surgery tho, I found I had way more courage at work and in general, and I've been able to help people out more since then. Whoever you decide I think you'll be ok if you e done the math and made a budget.

okay so your hairline progress is amazing! was there a transplant with your surgery or was he able to advance and round out the hairline that far?

I had transplants in 2021 and Dr M kept that hairline when he did FFS but brought it down lower by maybe a centimeter. There's some thinning in the spots where I had transplants so I will likely need additional grafts, which is why people always say to do FFS first.

Thank you so much for replying. I hope it only takes one more session for you to get the results you want 🥰

Was the cheekbone augmentation with implants or lipotransfer?

Implants. I was a bit nervous beforehand that they would look crazy but I love how my cheeks look and can't feel the implants.

Yes plugs are the same thing as hair transplants

No BBL yet! I've managed to get a little hip and butt but I wouldn't mind some more because I'm like 5'10" and proportionally I could use more curve
