First, Congratulations 🎉 . I think the team in Mannheim keeps part of the lower skin around the entrance of your vagina for improved healing. This may, in some cases, look unfavorable in the beginning, e.g. before you had your revision surgery. As a tip, I would ignore everything before the 6th month mark. Swelling will take it's time to go down as well.

I wish you a speedy recovery 🤗

Thaaank you.

I heared about that, but I don’t know what to see/expect in this case. What does “Lower skin” mean and what should it look later? But it looks very swollen does it?

But my second surgery I can’t do before September 2025 because of my oral exams for my job.

At this stage you should not expect anything luv 🤗Lower skin means the part between the bottom of your current opening and your anus. This is a part which is left for the time being to improve blood circulation and the overall healing process and reduce stress.

If you dilate correctly it will loosen up a lot. You can do the revision ealier. It does not put any large amounts of stress onto your body in comparison to the first surgery and you will be up and running in a week or so again. But you should wait 6th months at least to let everything settle down properly 🤗

Everything will be fine.

Where are the inner and outer labia?

Probably to swollen. Thats what i Hope for. Also the operation was always planned as a 2 step surgery. Sometimes it doesn’t need 2.

I ask tomorrow the doctors and will edit this comment.

Fast edit 1: Maybe you can see it, but I could barely push the outer labia away because it was so thick and sensible. Touching it hurt a little.

Thanks. Someone else mentioned i should give it 6 months more time and the second surgery.

Let’s wait at least until the catheter is removed and then another 1 month. The swelling is really huge and I feel it if I’m sitting. It’s like a huge sturdy and sensible blob that pushes into my bladder.

It’s 9 days and we shouldn’t be to critical.

It looked the same to me. I went to Dr Meister in 2021. Keep it cool and the swelling will go down more quickly. Congratulations on the operation.

Yes. After the second operation things look very good. At least that's how it is for me. You'll find out in 6 months when you've had the 2nd operation and it's healed too.

I think Dr. Meister is a serious surgeon and it will have some reasons why it looks like that for now you should talk to him first and don’t be concerned. Everything will be great.

9 days after my girlfriend’s surgery things were so swollen, we were not able to tell what it would look like once healed. She was worried for months. Swelling takes times! For some more for some less. For my girlfriend it took a year to fully go away. And now it looks incredible! No worries 👌🏻

One year. Most of the swelling was down after 4-5 months but there was still a bit swelling left for a few more months
