Not everyone does follicle scraping though. Maybe the OP's does but e.g. in Europe it's next to impossible to find a surgeon doing that.

My surgeon said the follicle scrape would get whatever was left over and it didn't fwiw. I have heard it works for people but it must not work for everyone

No it doesn’t, and they know that, but at least the surgeon got paid.

I saw my surgeon on Friday and I basically have the same situation. Surgeon did not hesitate to say I am ready for surgery!

IDK like it might be fine, I had a lot of hair removal before surgery but not 100%, surgeon told me it would be fine and I ended up with a lot of internal hair growth. It is WAY harder to get it removed post op, sometimes impossible if it's too deep. If you're going to Marci I wouldn't trust her judgement. Best of luck, I hope your procedure goes well whether its now or later!

You were 100% right! I took my stand and told my surgeon I’m not ready yet. I’m Newzealand where I live nobody can treat post op hair growth and that could have been a night more for me.

I'm glad you stood up for yourself! I was kinda pressured into moving forward (not by the surgeon but because I'm in the US and my insurance was going to run out if I didn't get the op at my scheduled date) and I wish I had just delayed and taken more time to make sure I was ready. Don't regret the surgery overall, but if you can take the time to make sure you don't have any complications, I think that's the right move!

I still have some left. 2 sessions of internal electrolysis so far

Is there a depth limit?

It's like 3 inches max, and I have 6 inches of depth, so there is some that I will prob just never be able to get.
