I have weekly/monthly pictures but I figured that wasn't really interesting. However if you want the actual process it's been well documented and explained by Dr. Bluebond and Dr. Zhao: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQlYSaueHT4 :)

It should be noted it’s not dr langners work in the video. And also not ops results. It’s a random YouTube video.

Ahahaha. Yes, it does work as expected. Still testing it but so far I have no regrets

You had the new procedure that uses some of the perineum tissue. Do you self lubricate ?

It was indeed the new procedure and I do indeed self lubricate. I haven’t tested it that much but finger play does get me wet down there.

Just being able to finger play with your own kitty sounds wonderful!

I would love to trade the twins for a wet kitty

Hey so I really hope this is not too personal or anything! Im a cis dude and Ive just recently discovered this sub and I find it extremely interesting. A big question I have tho is how does sexual arousal wotk with a neovagina. From my extremely limited understanding (google has sadly not been very helpful) tissue of what used to be the penis is used to form a somewhat artificial vagina. I find it hard to imagine how sex and arousal works with that though. Is there a clitoris? if so how? How does self-lubrication happen? Wouldnt that need some special sort of tissue that is not present in a penis? How does stimulation happen? is the skin inside as sensitive as a vaginas inner skin? i know thats a lot of questions, but Im really having a hard time wrapping my head around this and Id LOVE to know more!

Sorry to say this, but see rule 5 in the sidebar

This sub is by and for trans people, partners, carers, etc. If you're not, do not post unless it's of clear benefit to the community here. Others can post on /r/asktransgender/

How is this not of clear benefit? They are asking great questions whose answers can definitely help the community by providing a better understanding.

I am early in my transition but researching Dr for srs when I am ready and Dr. Bluebond-Lagner is an option im looking into and its hard to find the pictures of the results but if they're anywhere as good as yours are, coz your results are awesome! Then I would definitely shortlist them.

But if you do not mind me asking, and please please please forgive my weak knowledge of anatomy, what is the cavity/ hole at the bottom of the vagina? Is it supposed to be there in cis females too? Or is it just a neo-vagina thing? And is there a way to make it smaller or hide it under skin? Again I'm sorry if i come out as ignorant, but I'm just curious and you can totally not answer. Thanks!

That is the 'vagina' in the neovagina (the actual hole). For cis women it is not a separate hole at all and is a part of the vulva. You can google vagina to find how a natal vagina looks vs neo vaginas as it is quite different looking

Thanks! So do all the surgeons create the vagina below the vulva or some of them do create it in the vulva like cis women? Or does it depend on the person getting srs?

Depends highly on the techniue / surgeon and to some extend on the available material. You might want to take a look around the wiki.

With Dr. Langner, the vagina is actually within the vulva (between labia majora) but the labia minora terminate on top of the vaginal entrance.

Personally I had SRS with Dr. Bank from the Suporn Clinic and I have the minora going all the way down. You can DM me any questions you have or create a new thread as I don't want to hijack this one.

Hi, I have a couple of questions: how was your recovery so far? What made you choose Dr. Bank over Dr. Suporn? Do you recommend Dr. Bank? And how do you consider your results in terms of cosmetics and sensitivity? How is your vaginal depth? How was the stay in Thailand(Chon Buri)? How was Dr. Bank's aftercare? Have you tried the dilators of the soul? And if you used them, is there any advantage? and by the way many congratulations for the surgery

How has dilation been?

It’s a chore at this point. I started on the second to largest dilator and after a month I moved to the largest dilator. I have to dilate twice a day now :)

Glad Im not the only one who posted a picture of her work she is amazing and having more pics of her work out there is great! Im just over 3 months post op myself. I'm supposed to see her on Tuesday if hurricane Dorian doesn't mess with my flight.

Curious on a couple of things if you don't mind. Did you notice much change visually from month 3 to now? Also has she mentioned when you can start having sex again, anal or vaginal? I'm way to horny for my own good and the vibrator only helps it so much...

What has been changing the most and keeps changing is the size of my outer labia. It used to be really swollen and it keeps going down on size! And she clears you for sex after the three month mark so I think you will be good :)

I’m really glad you posted this as I was thinking I had more time until my scheduled to go potentially have a consult with B-L, but this aesthetic is DEFINITELY not for me. I’m glad you’re happy with it tho 🥰

How much does it cost for srs with Bluebond-Langner? I was considering Chettawut but I may be changing my mind after seeing this amazing result!

I got it through my insurance. In total I paid around 5.5k. If you go by the inflated costs the insurance reports I “saved” around 320k and the actual price was around 25k for which I only paid my maximum out of pocket.

How do you get the insurance to pay for it? I have BCBS and I don’t know where to begin. Thanks.

I have Anthem BCBS which is pretty much the same AFAIK.

In my case the doctor’s team sent everything to my insurance and some weeks later I got a letter from Anthem telling me they had approved the procedure. Before hand I checked that my doctor was in-network and that they actually covered vaginoplasties. Overall it was pretty smooth.
