Please, once you heal, let us know about sensation.

I'm often turned on, honestly. It feels mostly tight and tingly, and beneath the clitoris there's a bit of erectile tissue (to help with urinary control) that kinda gets firm but it's not uncomfortable and doesn't change the shape of my vulva at all. My prostate is still creating lubrication, so I do get actively wet. I won't be able to explore for about another 3 weeks though, so I've got some time yet before I know if I can orgasm or not. Based on how things feel already, I don't think I'll have to struggle to get there.

Thank you! Aside from being stuck with a catheter for another couple weeks I am extremely happy with how things have turned out. Dr Manrique did a fantastic job.

Thank you!! This picture was taken last night and the swelling (as seen on the bottom right side of the vulva) has already gone down considerably. I'm healing almost perfectly and I couldn't be happier.

I'm in shock. Usually the girls that go to thailand take a while to get to this point. It doesn't look like your surgery was so recent.

You're not the first person to tell me this and I'm kinda shook over it. I did my best to avoid fresh post-op photos before surgery cuz I was scared I'd talk myself out of it, so like... I don't have a good basis for comparison.

I originally wasn't going to let anybody see the results until a few months had gone by, including my partner. When I did finally show him the other night he was blown away because he'd been expecting something a lot worse, with massive bruising and swelling.

I think it's ok to post very fresh photos because people need to see the reality, but like I said, this is very good and makes me wonder if going to thailand is really the best option for me.

Dr Manrique works for Mayo Clinic, which is where I went. They work with a lot of insurance, and have lawyers that work with unwilling insurance companies. I definitely recommend at least talking with Mayo.

Three or four of the girls I know who've gone to him indicate they're incredibly happy with the results, with only one being unhappy. He's indicated he's never had a patient with incontinence problems (this scared me, I dont want it to ever be an issue) and of the 150+ surgeries he's done, he's only ever had 1 single patient unable to achieve orgasm.

I'm not in the United States / not American, so I'm not even sure this is an option for me.

I hope you have a well recovery. I had a laparotomy done for an ovarian cyst and I had to have a catheter in also but I didn’t mind it haha

This catheter is driving me crazy. It's been the worst part for me.
