Does anyone know how dr. Ting uses the tunica vaginalis to create depth during his penile inversion vplasty? There was a video I watched voiced by dr avanessian a little while ago, and it looked like they were using a scrotal graft to create extra depth and I’m sorta trying to figure out how he does the surgery.

This is a really good post, but just an added fyi. We currently believe that it also aids in inducing metaplasia in the surrounding epithelial tissue as well.

Do you happen to have a source for the video? I'm searching for more info on this technique.

Thanks for this. I can't find the part where she mentions preserving the Tunica Vaginalis though.

It’s not mentioned in the video, but I assumed that was because it was meant for nonsurgeons??? I have read a bunch of other girls say they both (avanessian and ting) use this technique so I just sorta assumed it was part of the scrotal graft.

Ah I misunderstood your original post, I thought you had said you had seen a video voiced by dr. avanessian where she mentioned it. I am trying to find a direct reference or description somewhere to ask my surgeon if they plan to do similar procedures anytime in the near future. Thanks for all the help though!
