It did thanks! Surgeons said it went well, not too much swelling or pain either ☺️

Gotta wait a bit to see results, but my brow is already better

Yeah, the forehead results are pretty immediate, though they’ll get a bit masked over the next few days as the swelling hits.

I go next week. What’s been the best/worst thing about the experience?

Are you on day 2 in the hospital?

It took quite a while for forehead feeling to come back. It's really gross initially especially when brushing your hair. It feels like brushing a helmet. Even now several years later i would say that the feeling is only 85-90% there. But i don't notice it day to day

Yeah I'm definitely happy with the job that they did. They're really nice people too. The whole experience was pretty good aside from the discomfort.

Woah that’s quite a long time to be out there. I’ll be there from the 9th-21st and am staying in their hotel (expensive af)

Should say hi when I arrive ☺️

No, I'm in the States so I just had a Skype consultation. But I requested dates, and got my loan application together. :)

Was the loan a personal loan or do they offer something through a lender?

I'm taking a personal low interest loan out from my 401k.

Hey all! I am looking at trying to work with Facial Team too and was wondering for those that did online consultation (I live in the US) how long after we’re you able to book a surgery? So like how long is the wait time from consult to the earliest you could schedule an operation? I don’t know if it is possible, but I have this goal of doing FFS by the end of the year if I start applying for a consult by the end of February: is that realistic?

Thanks!

Hey!

Super realistic, I went for my consult in early November, asked for a date “as soon as possible around the new year” once I had the quote in

So yeah unless much has changed I don’t see it being an issue - you need to be able to pay 25% to secure the date though

Oooh perfect! Thank you so, so much!! I am a graduate student and was going to try to tie the surgery date to my winter break and then use my vacation time to give me like... a month of recovery so hopefully I don’t come back a mess haha

This makes me feel so better! It’s good to know about the 25% down payment, too. I always figured I would need some kind of lone for it, though I have been saving for a while so maybe I could at least get the 25% on my own and the rest I can borrow. Hoping to be a fully functioning person with real income after I graduate haha
