9-months post with Tim Larner. Everything has really softened up, and I'm starting to appreciate how lucky I am....besides the scarring.

The fact that results can be this good gives me hope. Can I ask what type did you get? Vaginoplasty or Vulvoplasty? Penile inversion?

Congratulations! A year may seem a long time (I was similarly anxious to get things sorted) but once it's done we've got the rest of our lives ahead of us!

Most people forget to mark posts as nsfw, but there's an automoderator in this sub that marks them automatically so they don't notice. Except sometimes it fails, and I'm not sure why. I just tried improving it, but not sure that will work either.

Some entire subs are nsfw, porn subs for example, but that limits access so its not applied to this sub.

It's a transgender surgery sub reddit, how could it not be NSFW out side of ffs maybe and that's a huge maybe.

AFAIK certain other subreddits' posts are marked NSFW by default; I must have assumed that this was the same.

Laser scar removal?

Something I've considered - though I don't think laser removal is good for raised scars.

I don't think laser removal is good for raised scars

It can be, maybe it varies by laser type. I know keloid and hypertrophic scarring can be treated with laser therapy, for example.

No, I haven't looked that much into scar removal

Look into the lumenis ultra pulse laser. It's the gold standard. They use it on war veterans coming home with deep complex scarring.

Thank you! Sensation is good. My labia is quite delicate and most sensitive around the clitoral area. When I'm aroused, the whole area feels 'warm'. I get a butterfly-like sensation in my vagina (my friends call these "fanny flutters"). I have lots of erogenous sensation in my mons, too.

Thank you for replying, it definitely sounds like the sensation is interested, and would be pretty awesome to experience.

I decided that SRS in the UK was good enough for me, then narrowed down to the best-regarded clinic. I had seen enough photographs to expect a cis-normative result. Though of course, I still managed my expectations. I liked Tim because he was trained by the head surgeon, and as the rule of thumb goes the protégés go on to return optimal results.

Those scars may and probably will fade with time. I've known a few trans women who have had bottom surgery and had minimal scarring after a few years.
