That's amazing. You look fantastic! If you don't mind my asking, what did they change and who did you go to? I see chin and maybe nose? I'm looking forward to getting FFS in the future.

I went to Dr. Winocour in Nashville at Vanderbilt! He's great--very kind and affirming guy and very easy to work with. He is part of the initiative to make Vanderbilt the place for trans healthcare in the south. He also did my bottom surgery recently and has been great. I had an issue with another doctor at the hospital and messaged his team and within a couple hours he called me directly to apologize and tell me that he was going to talk to his staff about better care. He's the real deal

I'm a Tennessean, so this delights me to hear. Congratulations! Your results are fabulous!

I had a jaw shave, lip injection and raise (where they reduce the gap between your upper lip and the bottom of your nose). He also injected fat around my face and feminized my eyelids. He made slits around the edges of my lips to curl them into a slight smile, which is part of feminizing. He told me swelling is going to take a total of a year to go down which is w i l d to me. There were other small things he did that were little tweaks. So far I'm happy with the results.

As far as letters and stuff, I paid all out of pocket since my job's insurance refused to cover it. I am very lucky that I actually work at the hospital, so they gave me a discounted price along with that. I liquidated basically all of my savings to do this. I did a breast aug at the same time, which set me at about 13k total. I am lucky that I have a lot of socialist friends in my life who helped raise around 6k of that through gofundme and passing the hat to a bunch of people they knew across the country in unions and organizations. Without that I would've been sunk and this would've been grateful.

My bottom surgery was a different story, that required 3 different psych letters, from therapist, psychiatrist and urologist. The urologist that they got to help with the surgery was wonderful and a real advocate for me. Insurance covered that and I'm slated to have a revision on the surgery hopefully later this year/early next.

Thank you so much for this info. I didn't know about the lip edge procedure. Also this gives me a rough idea of the costs.

Of course, I'm a very open person and happy to talk anything surgery-related. If you have questions or anything I'm happy to answer

I’ll be honest I don’t see a substantial difference between the two photos. However you pass in my eyes in both photos.

While you do look different in both photos I’d argue that you pass in both, have you noticed a substantial difference in getting gendered correctly since the surgery?
