It wasn't painful for me when my surgeon did that but it was super super sensitive and I nearly jumped off the exam table. It is now much less sensitive. Ask your surgeon about how to reduce hypersensitivity if it doesn't improve on its own.

Maybe mine was just super sensitive. Didn’t know how to register that sensation.

Doctor dis that to me at 3 weeks and i had the same reaction. Week 6 bow and its totally fine

I had the same reaction , saw stars. Three weeks out of surgery and still super sensitive .

Its common to have either hypersensitivity or loss of sensation, and it should return to normal eventually.

It's entirely possible it will just have to heal for a while before you can get normal, not painful sensations out of it.
