I had breast augmentation and was told my other nipple would catch up to the same size but it hasn’t. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is the red marking on the right (right of the picture, probably actually your left) new at all? It looks like it might be the beginning of capsular contracture if it is.

As for the nipple- Medical/cosmetic tattooing called microblading could bring the colour and size up to match the other side. Or just conventional tattooing could do similar.

Ah, that's good, it's not what I worried it might be doing then.

The nipple is a mystery then, sorry. If it helps, they both look great?

Did you go over or under the muscle?

Afab here, different sized nipples/breasts are super common. Mine personally are 2 drastically different sizes. If you're worried though im sure there's a medical professional you can reach out to to reassure you 🙂

This happens to cis women as well. Medical tattling can be done to the smaller one.

*tattling = tattooing. Omg.

I was wondering this as well. Both the breast and areola right of center in the pic look significantly smaller, but it could just be the angle of the shot and/or OP's body position.

Yea it is smaller in general. They’re the same implants but the one in the left of the picture was a b prior to surgery and the right one was an a so I’m not sure why he decided to use the same size implants but I’m getting a lift on the left one and then going bigger but gonna make the right one a bigger implant to make them more even

hi! afab transmasc here. i haven’t gotten top surgery yet so my nipples are unaltered and look similar to yours. my size difference isn’t suuuuper drastic, but the right side of my chest is ever so slightly bigger than the left, and the nipple is larger in circumference like yours.

it’s completely normal and natural for your nipples/chest tissue to be asymmetrical. if it bothers you, you might look into tattooing the smaller one to match, or perhaps asking a doctor/your surgeon/etc. about what route they would recommend? best of luck!

Did you have breast augmentation before you were on hormones? Because it seems one breast is significantly larger than the other, which could explain the difference in nipple size.

I was on hormones for two years and progesterone one year prior to breast augmentation. One is larger yes but he didn’t think he needed different sized implants but he was wrong. I’m getting a revision in March, gonna lift the bigger one and then go bigger for both and make them even.

Yes, he was clearly wrong. Or the difference was not so big at that time, which makes us wonder if there isn't anything think wrong now, such as capsular contracture.

Have a look at Dr. William Powers. He treats this with progesteron I believe
