Ahh, the good ol' scrotal supporter. I got mine on December 3rd, worst jockstrap ever! 😄
Anyway, congratulations! I hope your recovery goes well, and remember to ice it!
It is awful 😞 ice is my friend hehehe
I dunno why but this one scares me the most, out of all surgeries. Because it’s not vaginaplasty, but it is definitely sterility and definitely guarantees that there is no going back. So I think you are mighty brave for doing that
That is why I did it no going back. I never wanted to revert back if for some reason I could not take hormones
This is not about bravery, this is about feeling good with our bodies
Maybe it was bravery too? You are not OP?
Obviously there are people for which it takes courage to take the steps to get to where they are comfortable with their bodies.
You might not be scared about medical procedures but there are plenty of people who are. Me included. Why are you so negative?
Yea exactly for me anyway it’s like a mental thing. When I think about it, it scares me when really I can’t think of a reason why I would want to keep them. For me I would need to at least feel happy with hrt for maybe about 4 years at least.
I had a vasectomy 20 yrs ago so was no big deal 😁
Congrats. How much did it hurt? Having mine next year.
Was done this morning and right now just feels achey!!!
Congrats! Hope your recovery goes well. I had mine done 8 weeks ago and it was the best decision I've ever made.
Sorry for being ignorant; what does “two down one to go” refer to?
2 testes gone 1 rod to go I'm assuming at least
Correct
I see! Good luck! Hope the recovery goes well :)
Thank you 😊
Aaah thanks!
A few questions if you don't mind:
What type of orchie did you get?
Where did you get it?
What prompted the decision to go orchie first?
I got a bilateral scrotal, was done in Philly , dr Masson at penn urology, this was a decision made till I can get approved for grs
Thank you!
Is this your surgeon? Dr. Puneet Masson
https://www.pennmedicine.org/providers/profile/puneet-masson
Yes
Could you tell me why did you choose this procedure instead of vaginoplasty? I've been thinking about having this surgery if I don't get vaginoplasty
Can’t afford grs at the moment and wanted them removed so I don’t produce any more T
Congratulations!
Thank you 😊
Yay, I'm on that same path. Had my orchiectomy in 2019 and was supposed to have GCS this year. Dang covid canceled that.
How are ya feelin’?
Sore ,,,,, like I was kicked in the groin , isn’t unbearable! I have been keeping ice on it
Congratulations!
Thank you Lauren
