My surgeon indicated the most they could bring it forward was 1 or 2 cm max. I dont have a receding hairline thanks to e and im wondering if i should even bother given the hairline scar?? I wear my hair back pretty much all the time

Thoughts? Anyone that has had it, do you feel it made a big difference?

I think it's dependent on if you feel like your hairline is high now. To me I think it made a significant difference - https://www.instagram.com/p/CIbSol6HGfY/ my hairline was also a significant source of my dysphoria so it was particularly important to me. Another major thing to consider is how your skin handles scarring. For instance often the darker your skin the scar may be more visible

Thank you! My scar is basically invisible. I'll be getting some hair grafts to fill out my temples and contour my hairline but you can't tell there is a scar there at this point

I'm about 5 months post op. I followed my surgeons directions which was basically biocorneum scar gel twice daily from about 2 weeks post op till I think 8 or 12? Weeks postop.

You can do hair transplant to create that female hairline shape you want.
