For reference this is one month post-op. The visible scars and redness should be fading and healing up soon :,)

Your results look incredible! Like, High-end, designer WAP. And the healing looks like it’s going super smooth. Did you opt for depth or no?

I have full depth vaginoplasty. The dilator goes all the way to the last dot! I was surprised honestly because I started hormones young I didn’t think I had enough going on down there to do it, but alas I did!

This is amazing for one month post-op! I was still very swollen at that with my scars being dark purple, granulation, and some discharge. Even at 8 months I don't look as good as you.

Right now I actually have the same issues! My scars are like purple-pink and I have granulation tissue around my urethra. I have plenty of discharge tho it’s gone away a lot (besides lube coming out) My body heals pretty fast so I think it’s just the pace of every person. I’m also 20 and really active so I think that helps too maybe? Idk. But let me just your vagina is beautiful and everything heals in due time 😤 I’m going to start using coconut oil on my scars to help them fade :,)

Being 20 like you and being more than twice as old like me makes a huge difference. Definitely!

Not sure about coconut oil, silicone based scar gel I got on Amazon helps me a lot these days for the scar tissues to disintegrate.

Speedy recovery!

Oh really? And you’re right!! We are both healing at our own pace and that’s okay 🥰 could you put a link for the scar gel? Thank you so much for interacting with this sub and I hope for recovery and healing to go great !!

Fast healing makes scarring worse. It's actually "better" to be older, "ideally" over 40.

That’s not what my surgeon said but alright. There’ll be scars no matter what ☺️

I don’t think that’s true. Do you have a source

Personally, I have to disagree. I have quite a few scars I "earned" throughout my life. Those that were "earned" early healed faster than most recent ones.

Seeing this makes me want GCS, It's very cute (please forgive me if that's not okay to say). I'm not rich though so it's not going to happen. And I'm at the "too scared too transition" phase

17
Mon Feb 8 11:17:13 2021 UTC
(0 children)

You don't need to be rich to transition.
While I understand, acknowledge and struggle myself with transition costs such as hormones, saving money for FFS and stuff, this is not sth that only rich people can do.

Oh it looks lovely! What about, if I can ask 1) sensation 2) dilation 3) using the toilet? Thanks sis!

7
Mon Feb 8 15:30:44 2021 UTC
(0 children)

Of course! The dilation is the toughest part and it will be for awhile. Sensation is coming back! My clitoris is the most sensitive part and the vulva as well. Peeing was weird at first as the stream tended to be messy but now it’s completely normal!

Those are some incredible results for only being 1 month post op, I would have expected a lot more swelling. What technique did Salam use?

He used standard P.I vaginoplasty

Did you have to get electrolysis beforehand? Your results look amazing btw and is making me consider Dr.Salam now

I got laser hair removal! You can do electrolysis if you want! It just depends on you. Dr. Salam is great!

Wow 1 month healed, that's incredible! How're you finding the healing process? I'm hoping to get a consult this year for surgery early next year.

3
Mon Feb 8 17:08:27 2021 UTC

The healing process is okay! Just uncomfortable to stand too long during the first month. Dilation is certainly hard to deal with but knowing that eventually I won’t have to do it/ rarely do it is what keeps me going!

Im actually pretty local to nashville. Ive been looking into like ny and cali but tennessee would be much closer. Aesthetically, aside from your slight scarring. How would you rate the aesthetical appearance? Im pretty interested in this surgeon now
