I saw, I think we may have chatted before. I asked where everything was. Still trying to see with this surgeon where the structures are in the labia. Everything I see is perfect but I don't think he gets the canal in the labia, it seems to be under. That's what I am trying to see before I cancel my consult with him.
He does 2 stage surgery. He puts the canal under the labia in the first stage so it heals faster and has less chance of complications. Then in the second stage he brings down the labia to cover the canal.
I'm planning on getting srs one day. What are the benefits of having minimal depth compared to getting more depth?
faster recovery, less risk of complication, no need to dilate. i didnt really care about depth so the choice was obvious for me

ok so like I didn't end up needing the opiate pain meds, thankfully, like tbh my boobjob was way more painful. After about a week my doc said I could take normal painkillers again.
what i did end up needing was a ton of absorbent briefs to catch all the discharge, like omg the first 4-6 weeks are just so gross in terms of stuff coming out of you, but thats just your body healing itself
I was lucky to not have to go back to work quickly. During recovery you're really limited in how you can like, position yourself without pain? Like, most of the time I was just laying flat on my back for the forst couple weeks.
Getting used to stuff like going to the bathroom with the new urethra placement is weird at first but gets easier quickly.
