Hi all, is there anyone who’s had their GRS done with the NHS? Are you pleased with the results or is it better to go private?

The surgeons are the same regardless of if you go NHS or private. I can recommend Phil Thomas and a friend of mine had hers done with Coker/Larner (can't remember which) who were his apprentices. r/transgenderUK has more info in it's sidebar

Had my GRS 4 months ago, I had granulation issues, but otherwise very happy with the whole process. I wrote a diary of my hospital stay here:

In the UK the NHS contracts with private surgeons and hospitals, many of whom are well experienced and capable. X

Avoid Bellringer's protege Tina Rashid she has botched victims. Possibly a future UK version of butcher Rumer.

Thank you so much for this. I don’t really have any questions. I guess I’m trying to fill the time between now and when I eventually get there. X
