Dr Chadwal Al Yaghchi in London did my surgery. Had my operation at 10:15 today and woke up around 11:45 ish (wasn’t with it 100%) As soon as I woke up after about 10 mins I fully came around and was fully conscious. (I come round very quick after general anaesthetic and I don’t get groggy off it) I was worried about waking up and coughing or waking up and trying to talk but when I woke up it’s like my body already knew what to do. Nurses were talking to me and I was just nodding and writing things down. I woke up with absolutely no pain and barley and discomfort. I was so surprised because it didn’t feel like I had an operation. I expect my mouth to be aching from being open for so long or my throat being dry but I literally felt like I just had a nice sleep. Could feel the mucus in my throat as soon as I woke up but it hardly even bothered me as long as you keep drinking water and eating it isn’t that noticeable. I’m now back at my hotel still haven’t taken any pain killers or paracetamol because I literally have no pain. Before I left the doctor came in and said everything went well and he gave me a print out of my before and after photos which is so interesting to see. Over all pain 0/10 discomfort 0.5/10 I’m so shocked how straight forward recovery is now, I’m manifesting that it’s going to say like this
