How long ago was your surgery?

After my GRS, I was unable to move my arm *at all* for three days, and I had very limited mobility for more than a week. They kept telling me "it's normal, don't worry, it will go away." It was very hard to believe them, but it turned out to be true.

I hope your arm problem is temporary.

Thanks. I have added this review to the surgery wiki.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TransSurgeriesWiki/wiki/srs/thailand#wiki_ittipat_treesaranuwattana

I've a few questions.

  • What do you mean by abandoned me in Bangkok ?
  • How did you find this clinic and what did you choose them? This clinic is very hard to find out about and not known to western trans people.

They left a sequel in my severe brachial plexus in which they paralyzed my left arm, paralyzing my economic life, they left me in bangkok without assistance, I had to pay for my treatment, therapies today for almost 5 months and I still have paralysis in my arm. The doctor tricked me into saying I'd get better quickly. He SPOKE bad about other doctors. And a bad ittipat character

Wait wait wait. What happened to your arm? You can't move it at all? Do you have feeling on it? How long ago was your surgery? Did anything happen to your arm? Do you have pain?

Just curious. Why would you pick that area to get the SRS done, or any surgery? Europe has many good doctors. As does here in the US or Canada...

often it's about costs or (more often) because of waitlists or requirements that bar a lot of trans people from getting gender affirming surgeries. i recently had to switch my therapist because of uncontrollable circumstances and it pushed out my timeline for getting masculinizing top surgery by almost a year. if i had the extra money/time to travel for surgery i would absolutely seriously consider it since i dont have other health concerns (i dont know OP's reasoning ofc, but that's what i've heard from my other trans friends and on here)
