I'm also 7 weeks post op, Dr kamol But ppv technique. When i asked him what's the biggest difference between colon and peritoneal techniques he told me if i want to get 7-8 depth then better choose colon, 5-6 then ppv. I chose ppv
He told me I would get 7-8, I got 6.5 from colon. He tells people 5-6 with PPV, they usually get 5.5 ..
I think he should just stop giving people numbers to base surgical choices off.
yes, he told me i get 6-7 with ppv and i got 5 and trying my best to keep it... I regret i didn't choose colon..
Hi pretty, I have some questions about your experience with Dr. Kamol and your PPV (well, there are a lot of them), could you please help me? I plan to undergo this technique (or the non-inversion technique): Did you undergo the hybrid technique (where half of the vagina is skin and the other half is peritoneal tissue) or the full technique (where only the first inch or two)? What made you choose Kamol over other doctors? How do you consider your results in terms of aesthetics and sensitivity? Are you satisfied with your results? Are hoy planning to have a revision surgery? And if you plan to hace one, What would you improve your result with one? What is your vaginal depth? How is self-lubrication? Do you shower or is there some degree of self-cleaning in your vagina? How have the dilations been?, That's all for now, and by the way, many congratulations on the surgery and the possible happiness it brought you.
It looks great to have very little time, there is only a little swelling, I have a couple of questions: What made you choose Dr. Kamol? What made you choose the sigmoid colon technique over other techniques (such as PPV )? How has your recovery been so far? How much is your Vaginal depth? How has the dilation been so far?
I chose Kamol because of the all inclusive style hospital/accommodation package. I can’t say that was a wise move. I wanted PPV but he advised against it due to insufficient long term data, plus the colon wall is thicker and lubricates less than PPV, so he was glad I reconsidered. Colon is guaranteed depth vs PPV is subject to depth loss, I’ve never seen PPV reviews deeper than 6”. My depth is 6.5 and has been since I started dilation, dilation has been okay but I’m stuck on a 1” dilator and am finding it painful to go bigger. The aftercare at the hospital was disappointing. Kamol is a good surgeon option but his hospital/aftercare needs work, a lot.
One question, are you happy with the positioning of the canal? Is it outside of the labia?
when I had online consultation with Dr Kamol, he recommended me against colon and said it’s better to do PPV. Anyways, your results look great to me, considering the swelling, hope you a swift recovery ❤️🩹

I’m so sorry hun, I am aware of this based on the pictures they have posted on their website. But the positioning is right on those pictures, it’s just that it’s underneath labia.
For what reason if i May know?
It looks unnatural to me because cis women have labia that surround the vaginal canal.
I mean what did he say by suggesting ppv over colon?
I’m not sure what you’re asking?
I'm trying to figure out for myself which Dr I should go with for SRS in a couple years. I'm basically looking for the most depth possible.
That will be dependant on 1. Your anatomy and 2. The technique used. I was told the depth is dependant on the distance between your peritoneum and your spine.
And obviously choosing one of the graft methods will give better depth than PI. I think the sigmoid colon method is pretty great but each to their own.
Is it swollen? Looks like it’s gonna look amazing!!!
Yes still swollen
Have you had any complications? What made you choose kamol?
Yes. I’ve had wound separation, pain/scarring/asymmetry on my clitoral hood and weeping fluid from my clitoral hood.
I also had problems specifically with the hospital and aftercare.
I chose Dr Kamol because of the all inclusive style hospital package and his experience.
Oh. Would you say your experience was a net negative? I was planning on going there for scrotal graft srs.
Love that the colovaginaplasty is beginning to get the love it deserves. And for the vagina to be swollen it’s looking goodt
Thanks. Yes Colon is a great technique, although the recovery from a colon graft is harsh on the digestive system for a while.
Do you know what part of the colon did they use ?
That’s a good question. I believe it’s the sigmoid but I can’t confirm this.
Has the swelling gone down now? It's still very very swollen in the picture. 🥰
Is there any kind of SRS Colon recovery timeline? Will excess lubrication always be an issue and is there a time when dilation stops entirely?
The surgeon says 3 months until sex and when swelling has gone down. Past patients have reported closer to 6-12 months until they’ve fully healed and have been “that ready” for sex and strenuous exercise, everyone heals differently however. Lubricates a bit, I still use lube every dilation and would do die sex. There is a requirement to flush the canal with saline. Amount of lubrication I’ve heard can vary. Dilation is needed forever to maintain width, but most report after 1-2 years it’s far less of a task.
Can you please tell me what a dilation schedule would look like please?
It’s gradual.
I’m at 7 weeks and I use the size 3 (1”) twice daily for one hour. I’ve been told it’s normal to get stuck on sizes for a while. I’m hoping to be going up a size at the end of each month but who knows. Some girls say they work up to the bigger sizes each session. This adds considerable time to each session but is less painful.
Is that 2 times, 1 hour per time or just 1 hour total per day? I dont really know much about dilation. Do you insert it and let it rest there or do you do something with it?
That’s correct yes. It takes 10 mins to setup/get it in and another 10 or so to clean afterward Realistically it’s about 1.5 hrs twice a day
Once it's in can you basically relax? I just had this impression that it hurts the entire time it's in you, whether it's a short while or hours.
You can pretty much relax after it being in for 5 or so minutes
In your opinion would you say it's quite a manageable process? Dilation is my number one fear about SRS but I'm wondering if I've been overly worrying about it.
It’s not that bad really, a little sometimes.. it’s just time consuming.
Is there like a general rule if thumb to determine how much depth you'll get from this surgery? Like does your height make a difference for example?
Also is there any smell?
How is your vagina now ? Are you happy with it? How long has it been since your surgery? Would you mind if I asked you to share
How does it look now ?
