Hi guys. I think I hit some Post-Op depression. Definitely lost majority of the right labia minora. :'( Scared I'll lose the other side too. Sucks cause it looked SO good the last few weeks and especially week 1 or 2. Blessed with low levels of swelling or bruising but cursed with tissue loss :(.
I imagine it'll look a lot better after the yellow sloughing tissue is all gone and the swelling goes down, but still, really sad this last week. It looked so amazing before.
Also, I just looked, but just from last week I somehow have MORE swelling on the right labia minora? Jeezus, thought its supposed to be going down. Icing 24/7 still and haven't gone back to work.
I do think I was blessed to even have defined labia minora directly post op, I do think there's merit to Wittenberg's penile skin labia minora approach. Maybe it contributed to the sloughing off though? Who knows. Labia retraction is very high with the other method (sutures create labia) anyway so meh. At least the top half is still beautiful. And it looks AMAZING while standing. Covers my clitoris perfectly. I dunno. Just sad right now.
Completely understand how you feel, I’m positive it will look amazing after it heals! You really can’t judge the results after only 1 month 💛
