I love the stitching! It’s nice where it’s on either side and not down the middle of the majoras. This is so clean and beautiful already!! Congrats!! ❤️❤️❤️

Did they take this photo while you were asleep operating?

He always asks for consent, you are required to sign forms and everything.

Yes I was asleep when he took the photo, and I woke up and he sent it to my phone. I love the results.

That's great! I had to sign consent for that too and was excited that they will take photos. But they told me they used to take photos but don't do that anymore but it was just formality that I had to sign it anyway 😩

Congrats on your surgery. Are you going to give the subreddit a follow-up?

I still have packing in but I will when I’m further along, just 4 days post op right now.

I’m taking Percocet and toridol for pain management.

Did they give you an epidural for surgery?

No I don’t think so. I was up and walking the day after.

I am confused about it being taken immediately post op because the red part at the center does look like a lot of hypergranulation and that doesn't form immediately.

If this wasn't taken immediately afterwards you might want to apply some silver sulfadiazine cream a couple times per day to support the healing.

If I am mistaken, do you know what that red part is?

Other than that, you have labia minora, and probably a decent clitoral hood / anterior. It is gonna look good.

Yeah the red part in the middle isn’t hyper granulation tissues, it’s red because the blood rushed to the surface because of the surgery.

Hm I might look into a more scientific explanation than that ^ Just catched my eye cause I haven't seen it so far.

The red part is just going to turn light pink and become the inside of the vagina is what my doctor says.

Heartily disagree with the SSD (Silver SulfaDiazine) recommendation - that stuff actually hurts healing by being a contact poison to not only bateria...but to WHITE BLOOD CELLS (any other cells for that matter) and to a fresh scar, causes scarring to be worse. Not even kidding.
Follow the doctor's recommendation of self care and look out for the usual signs of issues with a cut.
