Due to really bad body image issues it’s taken me a really long time to be comfortable showing my body off. Is this average for 12 days post op?

I don't know if it's average, but the swelling looks normal in general based on swelling I had after the other surgeries I had where my tissues were rearranged.

You’ll heal fine. Was it in your surgeon’s interest to not shave the area prior? Was genital electrolysis required?

Keep that very clean. Body washes with natural anti-microbial actions: lavender essential oil for example. Hair growing through or near stitches is highly problematic.

I did zero depth so hair removal wasn’t required

Why did you choose 0 depth?

I didn’t think I could keep up with dilation as I get depressive episodes and it can sometimes kneecap me

I feel like 12days is too early to make a true assessment of the results

Looks great so far, it’ll get only better in time.
