Is that a typical wait time after the consult? My consult is in March.
Of 2024.
Once I got my letters in they moved my consult up by 18 months. Total time between first contact and surgery will be just under 2 years.

Wow! Well I already have the therapist and psych letters, and I’m waiting on my hrt provider, but thats only a few days. Encouraging news!

my labia is puffy though, even if its hard to tell here. just not a huge amount of swelling

either way i know she is the best, I may have to restore for 10 years or so to be uncircumcised agian but either way her results look amazing, I'm just trying to get the best results possible thats all
im not sure circumcised/uncircumcised matters all that much tbh
it does and it doesn't. all depends on your expectations are and if your willing to wait. for me it's about having the best results i can by restoring my foreskin even if it means waiting 10+ years to do that even though i have almost a 50% increased risk of cancer due to a sexual assault from my ex girlfriend causing permanent damage to my genitals (why i need srs)

only pain inget is a little in the back of thr vaginal wall while dilating. very ez pain so far

its about 2 times too many loll. like a full time job. its wild to think that sticking something in there wjll be not only not uncomfortable but pleasurable. trust the process tho.
Tks for the insight. The NYU surgery team does tell/warn us that dilation will become our full time “job”. Based on the dilation schedule Kevin wrote in the surgery package, I’ve plugged it in the alarms on the phone, to run every day. I’ve set up a 7-11-3-7 schedule (setup, dilate, cleanup, douche, shower) based on a 7-7 suggestion from another RBbL woman. At first, it was like “holy crap!” about how often the alarm goes off (seemingly at the least convenient times). But now, I’m becoming used to it, and I believe it will be easier to adjust to when I’m post-op . . .

pains surprisingly minimal. only hurts in the back when i dilate, and then its like a pressure on a bruise.
