You look so happy! Who was the surgeon?

This was Dr. Liu! Super talented and wonderful man. He did his residency at the UW and a fellowship in transgender craniofacial surgery at UCLA. Super dedicated to patient centered care while guiding with his expertise. I would highly recommend.

Glad to hear! I have a referral out for him but it may take a while yet till I get the paperwork etc. Iโ€™ve heard nothing but good things.

FFS healing is definitely a waiting game after initial surgery.

Even 6-12 months out there could still be swelling.

Absolutely. The results are already satisfactory and I look forward to seeing with reduced swelling.

Very nice result! ๐Ÿ˜Š

And somebody mentioned swelling way out post op. OMG that is absolutely true and rather typical I guess. I had full FFS with hairline advancement, face / neck lift on 10.2.21. I definitely still have swelling in nose / jaw /chin. The jaw / chin kinda fluctuate, the nose just keeps slowly shrinking.

I really am liking my result and I knew worse case recovery time but didn't expect it would be mine..oh well I would do it again in an instant.. I just need to quit watching the paint dry so much as my Dr put it...lol

Best to you again you look great! ๐Ÿ˜Šโค๏ธ
