So what is different about the ptt vs inversion?
Iām not the most educated about this but from what I know ppt uses your peritoneal tissue so you get some lubrication, you donāt need as long of a penis to get a good depth and some other benefits that you can probably find on this sub.
Out of all the types I definitely want PPT for the lubrication and it's supposed to be more stretchy, less hair removal too. But what's hybrid?
Hybrid just means you use both penile inversion and also peritoneal flap. You can look up the specifics by searching for my surgeonās technique. I think she invented it but I could be wrong and Iām not the best person to educate you on this. There are links on this sub to more resources too.

Hi everyone. Itās been 3 months. Everything is going well. Life is back to normal. Still a little conscious about how my vagina is looking because of my smaller labia minora. You can see the pink part that sticks out. Iāve been to ob-gyns that tell me that itās normal even for a cis vagina though so Iām not too worried. Overall very happy with the experience and would recommend NYU for anyone considering!
Edit: Iām also self-lubricating to some extent. Not sure if itās enough for penetration though.
Honestly forgot I was on r/transgender_surgeries and thought I was looking at a cis puss for a few seconds, looks very natural and definitely one of the best results I've seen while browsing this sub.

Yes so basically I had a hybrid surgery with peritoneal flap being used for the inner parts of the canal. So I get some lubrication from it. Iām not sure what triggers it , idk if arousal triggers it or not, and idk if it would happen consistently just yet since I never bothered to figure out yet.
From what I've read the inside part is not triggered by arousal. However, you still have the P-gland and that will make lube stuff come out of the urethra, when aroused... doesn't has as far to go now so it should feel like more since it won't get lost in transit like if you had your old parts.
Yes that is true. I can feel some lubrication inside the vaginal canal that probably isnāt due to the P gland though so that should be caused by the peritoneal flap.
Ppt is the kind I want to get. I just wish I could get insurance or the money for it.. working at Kroger to hopefully get their insurance that pays for all transgender related stuff including cosmetics

Hi! I have a consult with BbL in 2 years and I'm curious about your comment. Part of why I want to work with her is that I understand the PPT procedure she uses is less dependent upon amount of penile tissue, and because I've seen some of her results with prominent labia minora (something I want).
Is this something you discussed with her?
No I didnāt discuss that with her because I did too little research to know what I want. If you talk to her about this she can probably do a more prominent labia minora for you.
Your insecurities are completely valid and understood. If it helps, Iām AFAB with small labia minora too! Like, small enough that I asked my first gynecologist if I even had them because they were kind of indistinguishable from surrounding vulva tissue. My girlfriend also has smaller labia minora. Itās not unusual at all!
Also, your results are phenomenal. Everything looks natural and completely gorgeous. Definitely echoing everyone else abt wondering what sub they were on

I spoke with their office today, and it sounds like they outsource top and FFS to two specific surgeons they work with. Zhao/BBL work together as a surgical team, so you only need to contact one.
This surgery has some great results to show from other girls recently and yours is a great example too.
