Who was the surgeon, and how much did it cost? What’s the chance of complications?

This was done with Dr Gabriel Rodriguez and the Sioux Falls Foot Specialists. I'm not sure on cost yet but will try to follow up once it clears my insurance.

As for the chance of complications I'm going to assume in my case the risks are pretty low (however there are always risks associatedwith any surgery), shaving Bunions is pretty routine as is Mortons toe shortening. I was told I won't have nearly as much grabby/curling flexibility with that toe but will be able to walk/run/exercise and be back to those cute heels in 4-6 weeks

I'll add you post to the wiki. There's almost nothing on this kind of procedure. It would be great if you could follow up occasionally in the months/years ahead.

That'd be him! And I will most definitely follow up as healing progresses

I'm hoping this should bring me down atleast half a size which would be amazing

Does this put you at risk of arthritis. I know I broke my foot when I was younger and it's set wrong and they didn't rebreak and set it right because it would have given me arthritis. Now that my left foot is set wrong I no longer fit in all my cute heels :(

I can't imagine this puts me at an increased risk, (as long as I stay off of them during healing), and with this surgery the hope is to fit into more cute shoes!

I have not seen my feet yet so not sure, I'll probably make a followup post on the 16th which is when I will see then, but in the consult I was told the scars should be pretty minor

Scars seem fairly minimal and should be easily taken care of!
