omg I wasn't aware that they did glottoplasties at UZ Gent? I'm currently following an internal trajectory there and will def be asking my assigned therapist there for more information since I was planning to get a glottoplasty in Germany where it's like €5500!
Can I maybe ask where you followed voice training? If you'd recommend them ofc. I'm currently looking for a voice therapist but haven't found one yet.
Tysm for posting this, Im glad your surgery lifted your dysphoria :) <3
Yep, they do at the UZ. I think they do expect you to have put in effort for voice training first though. I will privately message you my voice coach, for her privacy's sake.

Not at all, also I had a 6 months post op checkup that confirmed it is fully healed.

I don't know but most likely yes. Also depends if you're an EU citizen or not.

I don't know for sure, but I highly doubt that he does, typically not how things are done here

No, they wouldn't share that publicly. If it's any help, your voice really doesn't change much after it's healed fully. Only pitch is a bit higher, you could easily replicate that in voice training practice.

Correct, yes
Hi, do you know if he does other kinds of glottoplasty besides wendler glottoplasty (which you had)? I'm on the lookout for someone who does laser reduction
He doesn't afaik.
Thanks
