29 responses isn’t a study. Embarrassing that we’re even having this conversation.

"Out of the 29 patients who labeled their assigned gender as male before surgery, 41.4% (n=12) identified as heterosexual, indicating a sexual attraction towards women (Figure 1). [...] After surgery, all 29 (100%) respondents self-identified as female. As shown in Figure 2, current sexual orientation after surgery showed an increase in heterosexualism (48.3%, n=14) and a decrease in homosexuality (0%, n=0)"

That is not how any of this works. I can tell you. I'm gay as hell even without surgery. And NO. That doesn't mean I'm attracted to guys. Get it? I'm a woman. Makes me a lesbian. A flaming homosexual.

As shitty as it is, I was reading through it and they based the label heterosexual on birth sex

Which still completely ignores decades of research and facts for the sake of being bigoted in a "scientific" paper.

Theyre just dating themselves. We (straight transwomen) used to be "homosexual transsexual males". I don't mind being called transsexual. However, no homo. And I was never male... ;3
