Almost exactly 1 year post-op! (Dr. Jun–zero-depth vaginoplasty)
May I ask- in your 2nd photo, I can see the vagina opening, so is there a minimum depth? Thanks
Theres a "dimple," which is about a half-inch deep. Theres a risk with this surgery that the dimple flattens out, and you're left with just labia, but that didn't happen for me.

And maybe later I'll go for a 2nd surgery for PPT for vaginal canal
I'm seeing a lot of results with the vaginal opening at the end or outside the labias and I just don't that. There are 2 stage surgeries but still not sure where I'll go and if they got 2 stage procedure, last resort I'll just go for zero depth and then decide later
There is a risk for loosing the dimple? That’s too bad… can you be fingered in the dimple or at least try to put the head of a penis inside? Sorry if that’s too much to ask
you can be fingered in your dimple, it's just not very deep. It's also really tender, but that's just kinda how it is, even with full-depth. It's totally viable to stick whatever you can fit up there, tbh
That’s good to know! I don’t want full depth because of the risks and the dilation regimen, but I would like to have a small dimple to be fingered or to put at least a small portion of my boyfriend’s penis. Thank you for the information and again sorry if it was too much to ask hahahaha
Not OP but from what I understand about Jun’s zero depth is that there will be a dimple where the vagina would be, that probably has no more than a couple cm in depth and requires no dilation.
is the no depth or dept a preference and nothing specialy about a surgery?

Did you get any hair removal?
I got a minimal amount, because I thought I was going for full-depth originally. But when I switched to zero-depth, I didn't need to get any hair removal. TBH, tho, Im thinking about getting a bit of hair removal, or at least waxing on the lower part of my vulva bc my pubes get in the way of peeing sometimes :/

If you're up for sharing more, I was wondering what material was used for vulva construction? Were they able to use the penis shaft skin since it wasn't being used for a canal, like in PIV?
Also, how is sensation, are you able to orgasm?

I'm not sure what they used for vulva construction... i think it was mostly scrotal tissue, but I'm not sure.
As for sensation, I am *definitely* able to orgasm. It feels as good, and sometimes better, than before I had surgery.

Looking great! Can I ask how you found the recovery process?
It was mentally pretty tough for a month. I had a lot of depression, and sleeping was hard bc im a side-sleeper and I had to sleep on my back instead. But after a month, I was pretty fine. It was painful, mainly from certain stitches tugging, but the pain went way way WAY down after the first month. At probably 2 months I felt almost completely normal.
One piece of advice id give is to keep in mind that if your mental health goes down after surgery, it will most likely just be temporary. The depression felt really bad, but it helped to know that it was going to go away fairly shortly.
