Signed. This surgeon is a butcher, con artist, and liar. She has done so much harm to the trans community, from botched surgeries to legal threats. She should have her medical license revoked.

Here's my personal two cents - she operates so broadly because she is widely supported by insurance companies who don't know better. If a TV show offends you, you don't tell the show's producers, you tell their advertisers to drop the show. If she's not in network for everyone, everyone will be steered elsewhere. IMO, campaigning with insurers is only way to effect an impact.
Public pressure, direct action, and organizing can do wonders my friend. :)
Part of the reason she accepts every insurance is because she took a huge hit to her business after it came out that she was a butcher. She intentionally low balls her agreements with insurance companies because she’s desperate for business. Insurance companies love a surgeon who they can payout cheaply.
Pro tip: Be aware that If you to comment about Rumer, it's good policy to you restrict yourself to comments that you can back up with personal experience, data or it's stated as your personal opinion. Bold Assertions and accusations are a dangerous game when it comes to litigious surgeons.
This doesn't mean you can't make whatever comments you feel justified to make, but this is worth noting for those people who don't understand US defamation laws.
