Are you happy with the results?

What about orgasm and sex?

I think the aesthetics are fine. My labia Majora's are fatter than I would like but everything else is okay. Not bad enough for me to request a revision on. I haven't had sex yet 😔. When I use my vibrator, I'm not always able to orgasm. When I do cum it takes me hours. I definitely wish I had more sensation down there. The few orgasms I achieved have been short and underwhelming. Dilating is a big issue, takes me forever and it's really tight but I'm trying physical therapy now so we will see

Well it LOOKS amazing I think, but … I hope sensation works, like hopefully it just isn’t finished healing and what not maybe? I hope.

Yeah ive heard people say it takes a year plus to regain all sensation and have orgasms so we will wait and see. Thank you for the compliment😊

Oh, I’m glad to hear that it can be a year plus! That’s a good sign. i’m glad that you have at least some sensation already!

Sorry, I hope I’m not phrasing any of this in a kind of insensitive way or anything

She looks beautiful. I hope mine will be as beautiful one day! How to you think about the scars? Do they upset you since as far i see they really are the only visible difference to other vulva's?

as someone who is looking at her for ftm bottom surgery possibly, wow!! that looks really good.

what would you say working with her and her staff was like? did you like her bedside manners? would you describe her as businesslike, hyped for you, or was she just very calm? did you pay out of pocket or did she take your insurance?

Thank you! The nurses at her office are really supportive and try to be understanding as possible. All of my encounters with the doctor were brief and a bit rushed. She moves quick and doesn't say much unless asked. I guess I would say she is more businesslike. She took my insurance and they covered all the costs besides for a 50 dollar fee

that makes sense. sounds like she might not be the best match for me, because i have a LOT of questions about what my body's particular anatomy is capable of, and i need someone who will be patient with answering them and experienced with transmasc bottom surgeries. and who ISN'T kathy rumer.

thank you so much for answering! hope you're healing well and feeling confident :)

She's definitely not Kathy rumer! Bluebond has skills .. just be prepared with your list of questions and she can address them. Have a consult with her and see if you like the vibe

I'd say take another look. My surgery date isn't until September, but I've found the BBL-Zhao team really wonderful. They really go above and beyond other surgeons to help you prepare, make sure you're going to be taken care of, and make sure you're empowered. They spend a lot of time with you pre- and post-op--not necessarily the surgeons, but the team. I have gone to other NYU Langone surgeons for other stuff, and their team is way above and beyond.

Her results are getting better and better

Dr.s Bluebond-Langner & Zhao helped train Dr. Jun (as did a few others), they've been at this for a while.

This is absolutely breathtaking results in my book, at least aesthetically. I've had to revisit my notes on deciding which surgeon to go with, but this does give me some hope ^^

What technique was this? Was it the PI/Peritoneal hybrid, where the first inch or two is PI?

I think she looks very beautiful. I agree with you regarding your labia, a bit smaller would be closer to perfect...

I hope you get your full sensation back...and enjoy.

How much did it cost and what insurance allowed it? I really want to have my surgery done with bluebond but I have no idea where I can get insurance that covers it. I heard starbucks but their policy change in October has me scared that they won't cover it anymore after October 1st.

Aetna is really good across the board and especially with trans surgeries in my experience. In total I think they charged the insurance 175k

Do you know how good they are in terms of like.. in network and out of network surgeons. I live in the US in Illinois. If Aetna is really good I'll have to look into a lot more. I knew the surgery was already in the 150k+ range so insurance is my only option, and I am quite willing to work wherever I have to for however long to get it.
